  Very poor service offer lets down this hotel

  A bit out of town - an Uber costs about €20 to the town centre. I got a free upgrade to a suite, so was initially quite pleased, but lots of details let it down. The nI arrived another customer was being given a replacement room that would "hopefully be a lot cleaner". The mattress in my room was very soft, so not particularly comfortable. The kettle didn't work and while there was free water and Pepsi in the minibar, there were no bottle opener. When I asked for both to be remedied, nothing happened, and I had to ask again 12 hours later. The soap ran out in the shower on day 2 (and hadn't been replaced by housekeeping) and the hand soap had been watered down so much there was hardly any soap in it. When I asked for both to be replaced I was given two hand soaps, one of which was completely watered down as well and had to be re-replaced, but no shower/bath soap. The cleaner left cleaning products in the bathroom. When items ran out at breakfast, they weren't replaced even after asking, and I had to get assistance from the front desk as there was very poor restaurant service presence. I wasn't asked if I had enjoyed my stay on checking out. All in all, there are some significant service issues here, and I can't recommend it.

  A poor experience.

  A poor hotel which is a fair bit out of town. Room was dusty and the floor felt dirty under foot. Beds not the comfiest and I woke next day with several bites on my legs. Restaurant food was OK and breakfast was good.Seems like an area of the hotel may be getting used to house migrants as there was an area and a large room sectioned off from the rest of the hotel. Regarding your remark about "bites": this is not something we ever encounter in our hotel. Furthermore, this is very strange. After receiving your review, we carried out an additional thorough inspection of the room, as we routinely do, and nothing unusual was found (as with our regular check-ups). It is possible that this may have been contracted elsewhere. We also did not receive any report from you during your stay, which would have allowed us to investigate immediately and assist you on the spot. Please know that our team is always available 24/7 to resolve any concerns right away. Feedback after departure unfortunately leaves us with limited options to resolve or investigate matters (on the spot). As you can imagine, we find it very suprising that your issues were not mentioned during your stay. On a positive note, we are pleased you enjoyed our breakfast and restaurant service. We hope you will give us another chance to provide you with the hospitality standards we are known for.

  Clean and pleasant hotel

  The hotel was clean, if a little tired, the room however was a good size.. Dinner was really good food and swrved by very pleasant staff who were all very polite, and attentive. Breakfast was also well presented, with a wide selection of food available.

  The staff here are exceptional, sorted out many problems caused by an event organiser above and beyond. Best customer service I have ever seen and I have been to many hotels worldwide. Well Done Braulia/Anna and all staff. Hotel was convenient located for the sportboulevard for us. Rooms perfect for our needs. Will visit again but not too sadly soon as im in the UK.

  Away on a job in Rotterdam from February to March, so the group of lads I was working away with and myself were all put into this Postillion Hotel in Dordrecht.Staff were great, very helpful, and often displaying great patience as some of the boys could be a bit boisterous. One of the lovely reception ladies working night reception found my glasses, I was ever-so grateful, I rarely wear them but they would have been expensive to replace.The hotel itself quite modern and comfortable. The food served was alright although no ‘Full English’ for us Brits on the breakfast menu, but there was some streaky bacon and scrambled eggs though.The coffee machine was hit and miss, either it worked or it didn’t.Room was ok, I was in 216, the shower in the en-suite was great but the lighting in the room itself a bit strange as there was no overhead big light? My room was cleaned regularly and the bedding replaced, who doesn’t love clean sheets?The Postillion Hotel in Dordrecht is what I’d class as a functional hotel suitable for contractors and business seminars etc but not somewhere I’d choose if I was there on holiday.
