    Wonderful hotel

    rating04 Mar 2026

Great location. Easy access into the centre of the Hague - there is a tram stop right outside the hotel. Had a sea view room, which was amazing. Dinner in the restaurant was great - loved the seabass. Team Nomon, Marketing at Carlton Beach, responded to this review What a joy to read your review. Thank you so much! This is not a 4-star hotel

    rating14 Jan 2026

Poor breakfast with old fruit and low-quality yogurt (although the eggs were good). The room is old, the carpet looks tired, the windows must be from the '80s and cold air comes through. The gym has limited open hours. In the corridor on the second floor there was a definitive nasty smell. It is de fact a 3-star hotel. Team Nomon, Marketing at Carlton Beach, responded to this review Dear guest,Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear your stay didn’t meet expectations. We regret the issues you experienced and are following up with our teams. Many guests appreciate our breakfast, especially the quality and fresh options, so we're disappointed to hear this wasn’t your experience.Your comments about the room and facilities are noted, and we’ll take them seriously as we continue to improve. We hope to welcome you back in the future for a more uplifting experience.Sunny greetings,Team Carlton Beach

3 star hotel in a 4 star location with 5 star prices.

    rating01 Dec 2025

Stayed here a few times before the refurbishment, once since, always a seafront room with balcony. There still are only 2 elevators for entire hotel while the rooms remain small, like even if they were cabins on a modern cruise ship. Offseason, our beachfront room with balcony, corner room 401, about 20 square meters including a 4 square meter bathroom cost about the same as the much larger one bedroom suite at the 4 star Hilton downtown. Note: Tobacco smokers are accommodated with ashtrays on balconies and a smoking area beside the front doors so the rooms often smell at least vaguely of tobacco smoke. Team Nomon, Marketing at Carlton Beach, responded to this review Dear guest,Thank you for your continued visits to Carlton Beach, and for taking the time to share your feedback following your most recent stay. It’s great to hear you've experienced both our pre- and post-renovation atmosphere, especially from one of our seafront balcony rooms. We understand your comments about the room size and lift availability, as a beachfront hotel in a historic structure, there are some spatial limitations we work around, while doing our best to ensure comfort and service remain high. Your feedback helps us reflect and improve, and we hope to welcome you again.Sunny greetings,Team Carlton Beach ☀️
