Great hotel super location

Came here for one night as we were doing a park run, the hotel is right on the beach with great views and must be very nice in the summer. Had a nice room overlooking the sea worth the extra price the staff are very nice polite and helpful. My partner used the pool which she said was good and nice and clean.Had a lovely lunch in the restaurant and the breakfast was super so much choice. We had a nice stay and will come back in the summer as this is a great hotel to stay in

Long past its prime but still an impressive monument in a prime location on the beach near the pier in Schevenigen. The Wellness facilities, included with your room, are tops - great sauna and clean pool. Service is attentive and friendly but the hotel and restaurant are at times short staffed. We had snafus with our reservation: inadvertently cancelled even though we had provided credit card guarantee. The breakfast buffet is sumptious and varied. Dinner entrees are of uneven quality. Late check out is available for a small fee which lets you enjoy a few more hours of your stay. All in all a delightful experience. Great place for a wedding anniversary

The location is excellent. Right at the beach and close to bars and restaurants. The atmosphere is nice. The building is classic and beautiful but it is a little dark insight the main hall. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff left us card for our wedding anniversary. Very kind. The breakfast was great. A rich variety of foods and drinks. So good value for money. We also went to the Crazy Piano’s. A bar with live music we can recommend. Also the Solo Vino bar is nice place to have dinner and enjoy great wiens. We landed home today and I already cannot wait to return

We came to this hotel based off a recommendation, and even with all the good things we were told before arriving, this hotel blew us away. The building itself is so beautiful, and inside with all of the art, statues and decor, it screams luxury. Every staff member was incredibly kind and welcoming, engaging with the children and offering help at every turn. The location is so easy to get to with the train less than 2 minute walk from the hotel (We travelled from Dunreill by train in under an hour), dropped our bags and walked out onto the beachfront which is breathtaking. The staff took our bags so we could go and enjoy the beach before our room was ready. We were told to come back at 2:30pm which we did, and with no delay, we were in a room big enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children which was near impossible to find when I was researching other options. The fact we didn’t have to break the bank and pay for 2 rooms, and could enjoy the last night of our trip altogether, the value for the money spent cannot be challenged and the room was spacious (We even had a kitchen!) The spa was very clean and clear on family hours (there are also adult only hours) so everyone is accommodated. The robes and slippers left in the room felt so luxurious. Staff were thorough in maintaining the pool as well as enforcing the no jumping rule to make sure everyone was able to enjoy their time safely. The pool is quite small so jumping in will inevitably end up with someone hurt, especially during the family times which naturally are busier. The Sauna/Steam is separate and available for children over 12 (Again staff were thorough in checking any children were over the age to use safely, which I appreciate and allows it to remain a peaceful space to enjoy) The hotel is spotless, genuinely the most aesthetically beautiful hotel I have ever been to in a dream location. I cannot wait to return and we have only just landed home! Thank you to the staff for a wonderful end to our trip.
