Poor cleanliness and unavailable services
05 Jan 2026
From the moment we arrived, the room was clearly dirty. We found used spoons and glasses left behind by previous guests, which was unacceptable. There was a noticeable amount of dust everywhere — on the floor, the doors, and throughout the bathroom.During the three days of our stay, housekeeping never came to clean the room. The floor remained dirty the entire time, and both the bathroom and room surfaces were covered in dust.In addition, the hotel restaurant was out of service and not available for dinner. Room service was also unavailable, which was very inconvenient and not communicated in advance.Cleanliness and basic hotel services are fundamental expectations, and in this case, they were far below an acceptable standard.

Did not meet expectations... strangely.
20 Nov 2025
I really wanted to like this hotel, I really did. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with it! Decent location, close to (expensive!) shopping and restaurants, excellent service at the reception desk, comfortable bed, clean...So why the three stars? The whole hotel just felt... cold, austere and impersonal. It is not a place to make a guest feel at home, but it is clearly a business and you are a short-term customer. The precisely placed and calculated decor, hard floors and chilly air add to the feeling. Breakfast is ok, some charm in the intimate serving room, but selection was somewhat limited.Like I said, nothing _wrong_ at all, but the hotel did not charm me or make me truly relax. And that is somewhat important.

Not a 4-star hotel
10 Nov 2025
Far from a 4-star experience. Staff in reception is junior and cant answer even simple questions around the facilities of the hotel. Breakfast is served in a nice location and is generally OK, but eggs are over cooked and cold. Gym is located in another hotel 3-4 min walk, a bit below standard hotel gym and with no possibility to shower so not the best option to have to walk in gym clothes outside after the workout.Great location, but as mentioned not a 4-star experience

Nice and central but at times condescending staff
20 Oct 2025
This hotel is very central right opposite the royal palace. I’d booked a car park space as they only offer 3 but when I arrived a member of staff was parked in my allotted space, so had to park next to the dustbins. Check in was ok no upgrade was offered but I was told that they would give me a mini bar for my stay (this never happened)Our room was large enough but smelt like someone had been smoking in there (we don’t smoke) so a gentleman came up with air freshener and we opened the windows. The mattress moves in the night and the bedsheets are not large enough to fit the bed. Breakfast has lots of choices but first morning it’s not explained by anyone how it works 🤷🏻♀️I asked for a teapot to be told they didn’t have any ( Dutch just put teabag in cup)..On our second morning I was asked if I wanted a hot drink by MILLY I explained I only drink tea from a teapot and sadly the hotel hasn’t got any, next morning there’s MILLY with a lovely little teapot BIG CLAP FOR MILLY. I had a email the day before we arrived saying that the hotel bar/restaurant was closed at 15hrs due to a refurbishment that was happening so no night cap there, it might’ve been better to have been advised earlier then I would have had the opportunity to change hotels. At times it seemed that the staff though they were doing you a favour by letting you stay there, which sadly I won’t

Mini break
18 Oct 2025
We stayed at the Indigo hotel for a mini break in October. The hotel is central for everything. The staff were very helpful, pleasant and patient. Jamie, Valerie and Lucia on reception we’re ready to help us with all sorts of enquiries. We had breakfast every day and Fenne was also very pleasant and helpful.Would stay here again.
