  Worst customer service ever

  28 Jun 2026

I initially chose this hotel because of the view and my great experience with Intel hotels in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. But it was a huge mistake. Worst hotel I ever stayed at in terms of the staff… genuinely felt guilty for staying there and for th working. Reception couldn’t answer any questions, had to look for staff in a restaurant for 10 minutes to place an order while they were chatting and playing with their phones.. no water over breakfast. Like I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone because the children working there should be staying home with this attitude… like price is huge but quality is Ryanair… never again bye intel Guest relations Inntel Hotels, Guest Services / Front Office at Inntel Hotels Den Haag Marina Beach, responded to this review Dear Kamilė,Thank you for taking the time to share your review. Gorgeous Beach

  21 Feb 2026

This hotel is excellent value for money. It’s very modern and gorgeously designed, and everything feels fresh and stylish from the moment you arrive. My room was splendid — beautiful furniture, very comfortable, and I had truly lovely sea views. The beach the hotel sits on is absolutely wonderful, and being able to step out and enjoy it so easily made the whole stay feel like a real escape. The facilities are also a big plus: a good gym, a pool with amazing beach views, and a spa. The only small downside is that the spa area feels a bit on the small side, and it would be great to have a separate women-only sauna, as the mixed area can feel too limited (especially for women).Overall though, this was a gorgeous weekend break. Beautiful hotel, beautiful beach — I loved it and would happily return. Guest relations Inntel Hotels, Guest Services / Front Office at Inntel Hotels Den Haag Marina Beach, responded to this review Dear Mila,Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your room, the stunning sea views, and our beach location, as well as the gym, pool, and spa facilities. We appreciate your feedback regarding the spa and the idea of a separate women-only sauna, and we will take it into consideration for future improvements. It’s fantastic to know that your weekend felt like a true escape, and we would be delighted to welcome you back for another memorable stay!Warm regards,Jamie - Guest Relations

  Hospitality is dead and buried

  10 Feb 2026

Count on inexperienced staff and a management culture that doesn’t prioritise hospitality when you travel here. I wanted to surprise my wife with an upgrade: regular room to a wellness room with sea view, sauna and hot tub. So I had them leave a note in the front desk system to explicitly not (!) mention the upgrade and ruin the surprise. But they seem unable to handle those requests nowadays. Upon arrival the first thing mentioned was the upgrade, because they didn’t bother to read the note. So the surprise was ruined and frankly it didn’t even surprise me that happened. Hospitality is dead and guests with requests are just a temporary nuisance. On top of ruining things, the room wasn’t ready yet. So the time to enjoy the sauna before dinner shortened. Shortened even more because the markings on the knobs to operate the sauna were hard to read and the knobs were even harder to access. In the shower my ass wasn’t fully covered by the privacy glass, the hot tub’s air feature sounded like a jet engine at take off and breakfast came with lukewarm espressos and only one yoghurt no fruit/no cruesli to share apparently. Plates were missing too. Complaint about the cold espressos was at first ‘solved’ by bringing us not 2 but 3 cappuccinos. What should have been a seamless experience became an endless obstacle course. The fact that there isn’t any parking next to the hotel was an integral part of that course. And all this for just under $600 per night. The sea view was nice though. Guest relations Inntel Hotels, Guest Services / Front Office at Inntel Hotels Den Haag Marina Beach, responded to this review Dear guest,Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are sorry to hear that your stay did not fully meet your expectations. We understand how disappointing it must have been that the surprise for your wife was mentioned too early during check‑in. You had hoped to make the moment special when entering the room, and we regret that this did not go as planned. We are always happy to fulfil special requests, so I would like to look into what went wrong here. Unfortunately, the name you used in your review does not match any reservation in our system, which makes it difficult to investigate further. If you would still like us to review this, please contact us with your reservation details. We truly apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. We are also sorry to hear that you had trouble using the sauna. If something is unclear during your stay, our reception team is always available to provide extra explanation or assistance so you can enjoy the facilities without any stress. It is unfortunate to hear that the breakfast did not fully meet your expectations. We aim to offer a varied and high‑quality start to the day, and we regret that this was not your experience. Your feedback about the coffee, yoghurt and missing items is valuable to us, and we will include this in our evaluation for further improvements.Regarding parking: our hotel does not have its own parking area. To still support our guests, we offer a reduced rate at the external Q‑Park Strandweg. Guests can book a parking space in advance via our website or through the link provided in the pre‑arrival email. We hope this information will make a future stay more comfortable.Thank you again for sharing your thoughts. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the sea view, and we hope we may welcome you back for a smoother and more pleasant experience.Kind regards,Robin - Guest Relations

  It was okay

  03 Jun 2025

The pluses of this hotel are its super location (though a km walk to the tram), pleasant staff and a good breakfast. The minuses are having to book a breakfast slot. It is ridiculous to be on holiday and not have the flexibility of having breakfast when it suits. The excuse it avoids overcrowding might be valid but that should not be the guest’s problem. The area needs to be expanded soon! Expected more amenities in the room eg tissues, body lotion, etc. The beds were comfortable but very narrow. Probably will not return. Guest relations Inntel Hotels, Guest Services / Front Office at Inntel Hotels Den Haag Marina Beach, responded to this review Dear guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We’re happy to hear that you appreciated our location, friendly staff, and breakfast offering. It’s great to know that these aspects contributed positively to your stay. We’re sorry to hear, however, that the breakfast time slots impacted your experience. During busy periods, we do indeed work with time slots to help optimize the flow and reduce waiting times. That said, we understand your concerns and will certainly take your feedback into account as we evaluate future improvements. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the room amenities and bed size. If you prefer a larger bed for a future stay, we invite you to explore our other room types. Our reservations team will be happy to assist in finding a room that best suits your preferences. We hope to welcome you again in the future for a stay that better aligns with your expectations.Kind regards,Robin - Guest Relations
