A ruined night. No apologies

Fire alarm in the middle of the night - all guests on the street. No public updates at all. Staff limited to one man who was unable to turn the microphone off, The reason was given when asked in connection with check out. A smoking guest had set the firealarm off. A fine run through of the events but no apologies were given and no compensation offered. Not expecting full refund but Leonardo could have covered the breakfast as a minimum. Poor handling of the event.

Asked for a suite with a view when booking was given a suite on the 3rd floor with a view of the roof between high rise buildings adjacent. Cleanliness was not what I expected considering the price paid for the room dust on beside tables was very bad could run my finger through it but bathroom was major problem .Sink blocked just by washing our hands the sink was full in a few seconds. Similair problem with bath/ shower bath filled up while taking a shower. Lucky we were only staying one night or I would have asked for another room. Was expecting something much better very disappointed.

Enjoyed a short stay recently. Experienced the staff to be extremely polite and professional. Hotel is clean & comfortable and located next to central station and easy walking distance to business district and many restaurants. Would highly recommend. Great hotel and the location is brilliant. 2 min walk from train station and about 10 min from city centre. Rooms are clean and tidy and reception very helpful. Didn't use any amenities so can't comment. Let us leave suitcase in hotel on day of departure. Only problem was finding it although it was literally round the corner from train station could not find hotel because we we're looking for the Babylon hotel and it is actually called the Leonardo hotel with a very small sign on door saying Babylon hotel den Haag. Needs to have a bigger sign somewhere so it's easier to find.
