  Great Hotel, Perfect Location – Highly Recommended.

  We really enjoyed our stay at Leonardo Royal Hotel The Hague Promenade. The location is excellent, with many tourist attractions nearby and the beach of Scheveningen within easy reach. Everything is easy to do on foot, and there are nice restaurants in the neighborhood. We also appreciated that we could dine comfortably at the hotel itself.The swimming pool was beautiful and very pleasant to use – a real plus during our stay. The staff were discreet, professional, and friendly, which made us feel very welcome.Overall, it was a wonderful experience and definitely worth repeating. We would gladly stay here again.

  To use the pool and sauna . You get charge 20 eur for the day

  Been to this hotel numerous of time. Can never fault the staff or the rooms. One of the main reasons I use this hotel is for the pool and the gym. To my astonishment they now charge you if you want to use the pool and sauna. The charge is 20 euro per day. Firstly 20 euro to go for a swim is disgraceful. I will be in no hurry to stay in this hotel again. I hope they update their description of the hotel to say you will be charged to swim.

  The staff is very friendly and helpful. The entire property has a certain 1980s charm, but lacks maintenance. Water pipes and a/c noisy, room furniture and carpet worn. Breakfast room too small for a busy crowd.

  I stayed here for 1 night on business. Check in was simple and the staff polite and efficient. The room was large with good views and all the things you expect from a quality hotel. The bed was firm and very comfortable. The choice at breakfast was good with fresh juices and delicious pastries. Overall a good experience and will definitely stay here again. Only downside is distance from the centrum, however it’s on a tram line which will take you there in 10 minutes.

  A large international type hotel. Check in was quick friendly and efficient.Our upgraded rooms were large and comfortable with a huge king size bed. The bathrooms were large with both bath and walk in shower.Everything was very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very good indeed with everything you could want including freshly cooked eggs and omelettes cooked in front of you as you wait. Fruit , cereals, cold meats and cheeses etc etc etc. all in a large breakfast room where space was never an issue.The one let down I thought was the bar / restaurant. Limited menu and seating. Despite there being an enormous bar serving area there was very limited seating if you just wanted a drink with almost all tables reserved for eaters. The hotel has a huge car park which always had plenty of room but at €25 per night it doesn’t come cheap. Get the ticket validated at check in and then you use the same ticket for entry exit throughout your stay.I would definitely stay again but maybe eat elsewhere before returning to the hotel.
