My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay for five nights in mid-March. Our room was on the third floor and overlooked the palace gardens.. The staff was uniformly courteous, professional, and efficient. Lorena, in particular, went out of her way to resolve a minor issue with our room. The breakfast buffet was extensive and the hotel's location is only a couple of blocks from a tram stop. We would stay there again.

Me and my wife had a plan to spend beautiful 2 days in our lovely Den Haag in the hotel we have been several time.We don’t know what happened, may be the old owners sold the hotel to a new irresponsible ones who came only to earn money and ready to violent all the rules of hospitality.One buy oneWe book executive room with a view, which is not an entry price level.We excepted to get beautiful view on the sharmy street or Royal gardenWhat we get1. Shabby hotel corridors with room on the back door ladder2. View to the rubbish of inner yard and neighbors broken fernuter3. Money staying in the middle of the room small fridge with electric kettle on it.4. Strange attitude prom hotel stuff. Who was trying to convince us that “room with view” just mean it is room with window. “All the rooms have a view, sir” - exactly the words of the stuff5. When we asked to show another variety they showed exactly as we booked but told - sorry - they us for other clients (it was 23 pm and nobody come), cause we establish here additional bed and we do not want to move it to another room.6. Story is rolling on - will keep you informed about reaction of booking.com. Till now there is no answer from them

Well located hotel, far enough away from the main centre, but more than close enough to feel part of it. The staff were polite and helpful.It was relatively quiet for the most part inside and out - one evening there were a few people playing snooker at the bar which created a nice atmosphere. Cant fault them on cleanliness - everywhere seemed very clean as far as I could see.I didn't try the breakfast as I tend to eat out when away more often than not, but heard good things about it. I had a classic double room - when I first walked in it felt really small, but I quickly adjusted and it was more than enough for me. The bed was comfy, the pillows were a little soft for my taste, but using two rectified that problem. I did hear that you can ask reception for a number of different types of pillow though.The WIFI was surprisingly good, speedy and worked all across the hotel including the room - something that you don't get with all hotels!If I return to The Hague, I would happily stay here again.

Fantastic location, very nice lobby, rooms were very spacious and loved the extra area that we could separately put a crib. Also loved our room's balcony. Only downside, our room had a strong smell almost like stale air (despite us opening the windows) that we couldn't get used to.
