Super friendly staff and awesome service

    rating13 Feb 2026

My friend and I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel. While the property may not be expansive, the exceptional friendliness of the staff created a welcoming atmosphere, making us feel truly valued. The bar staff, in particular, were remarkably accommodating. We highly recommend seeking out Geron, his dedication to ensuring a positive guest experience is outstanding and will undoubtedly enhance your stay

    NOT worth the price

    rating28 Dec 2025

Price is too much for the rooms they offer. By the main entrance we saw a couple of rats running by. After going to the room- they were no towels and we had to ask reception on the phone. After examination of the room with UV light we discovered mold, lots of dust and signs of bodily fluids. The reception didn't have small change for me and i received only €5 back, when i was expecting €8. It's NOT worth it for the price.

    Comfortable and convenient

    rating12 Dec 2025

Amazing comfortable bed, nice big tv with a fair few English channels plus Netflix. Clean room and bathroom. Would be nice to have more than 2 coffee pods left in the room and maybe some little milks instead of a sachet of creamer. Bus stop and tram station literally a few minutes walk from the hotel which is very convenient.

    Nice, quiet hotel

    rating04 Dec 2025

Nice, quiet hotel. The service at the restaurant was slow, but the food quality was good for the price.Everyone speaks English in this Dutch hotel. Fortunately, I also speak English, but for native Dutch speakers this could be an issue. The staff’s English could also be improved a bit. There is great free parking available, suitable for both minivans and regular cars.

No-Go Hotel - Avoid if possible

    rating30 Oct 2025

My room was on the ground floor. The sink was too small and made it extremely uncomfortable to wash up every day. Whenever I tried to wash my face, I always ended up making a big mess and getting myself wet because there simply wasn’t enough space.Cleaning was not done daily. The room was somewhat clean when I first arrived, but as the days went by, it became clear that cleaning wasn’t being done properly. For example, there were toothpaste stains left in the bathroom. Not all receptionists spoke good enough English or seemed customer-oriented, which should be mandatory for a place that receives tourists. In my case, I had an issue with my booking: the hotel withdrew money the day I booked the room through my company’s platform, and then withdrew the same amount again later.I understand that some bookings are prepaid, but withdrawing the same amount twice? Seriously? They claimed that the hotel hadn’t taken the money from my account, but that’s not what it looked like from my bank statement. The whole situation was incredibly unpleasant, and the first receptionist I spoke to was very unhelpful. I suspect he was fairly new, as he had no idea what to do and started giving random, pointless advice — like telling me to contact my bank because it was “their issue” — and then suggested I speak to the “head of administration” the next day. This was extremely frustrating, especially considering that I hadn’t done anything wrong, I live in another country, and we were talking about over €700.The next day, I was lucky enough to come across a receptionist who actually knew what she was doing — she solved the problem in five minutes. I’m very grateful to her, but this just proves that the issue could have been resolved easily the night before.I was told several times that I could request the invoice whenever I needed to. However, when I asked for it the day before my departure, the receptionist refused because it could only be done during check-out. This lack of consistency is frustrating from a customer’s point of view.I was carrying a very large suitcase, a carry-on with a broken handle (it broke during my trip), and a backpack. Because of the hotel’s inconvenient location — it’s literally on a corner where taxis can’t stop — you either have to go out through the front door and along a very narrow, suitcase-unfriendly path to reach the vehicle entrance, or go all the way around outside to press the button to open the vehicle gate. (Why the gate can’t be opened from inside the hotel remains a mystery.)Since it was almost 6 a.m. and my flight was at 9 a.m., I wanted to find a more efficient and less stressful way to leave, especially as I had been informed that reception would be unstaffed at 5 a.m. and operations would only resume at 6 a.m. I asked the receptionist if she could open the other entrance from reception (in my mind the request seemed perfectly reasonable and plausible). I didn’t get the feeling she had understood what I was asking or why. She simply told me to go outside and open the door myself, and that I could leave my things at reception. Since I was worried about being late, I just took everything outside on my own.Out of the four receptionists I interacted with, only one seemed to understand what customer service means. The others appeared completely uninterested and just said the first thing that came to mind, hoping the customer would accept it and leave. There was no interest in understanding the situation or showing a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.There are countless rats outside the hotel. I even saw two running with a piece of bread in their mouths. This was happening right at the entrance, which makes you wonder whether they can reach other parts of the building.Last but not least, whenever my colleagues and I mentioned that we were staying at this hotel, everyone we spoke to had only negative experiences to share and felt sorry for us — which says a lot.I will do my best never to stay here again and will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
