Postillion Utrecht Bunnik pleasantly surprises with efficient service, friendly staff, and an attractive atmosphere. Lovely hotel, comfortable bed but on both nights we stayed we saw a mouse in the lobby area. We said it to staff and they weren’t really bothered. Very small towels in the rooms. Hand towels only. Room was clean, but worn out. Scratched table top, scratched sink. Toilet awkwardly placed in front of the shower. Room on streetside was noisy because of the highway.Breakfast was standard what you can expect. No remarks here. Disappointing Late-Night Stay at Room 203

Although it wasn’t very cheap, we booked through Social Deal for €115 for a room for two people.Before checking into the hotel, we had to pay an additional €7,26 separately as taxes.Two days earlier, we had called to inform them that we would be checking in late at night as we were going somewhere. They said, ‘That’s fine, no problem.’ And we checked in around1:14 in the night.Since it was very late at night and we were extremely tired, otherwise we would have never stayed in this room.The room was very small, it was room number 203. There were two tiny beds, so small that you couldn’t even turn properly while sleeping. The bathroom was absolutely terrible if you sat on the toilet, it was uncomfortable and inconvenient.In the shower, the soap holder was broken. The sink stopper for the water was missing 🙈and The knob for the shower soap was also broken.😡 Next to the bed, there was only a table on one side where you could charge your phone, but on the other side there was just a stool with no charging facility at all.Since our breakfast was included, we tried it, but it was very basic. Absolute horror

Avoid this hotel at all costs! The heating is not working properly, making it very warm in the room. The worst part is that the heating makes a lot of noise. An enormous whooshing sound, which exceeds the sound of your earplugs. Had an absolute horror night. I couldn't be rebooked to another room because everything was full.Other guests are offered compensation if, for example, they do not have hot water. I received no compensation and was left to figure it out.
