    I was torn between 2 or 3 hotels to book, and so glad I made the choice of Barclay Suites. From the moment I arrived the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. I was on the 19th floor and had such wonderful views of the Sky Tower and the Auckland Harbour Bridge. The suite was well laid out, clean and comfortable and had everything that I needed as a solo traveller. I caught the bus and then train from the airport to Waitemata, and this was a short walk to the hotel. The shops, Sky Tower, bus stops, cafes and restaurants were all within walking distance. When I was in the rooms I could not hear anything from the other rooms on my floor, it was that quiet.This hotel was a bit more expensive than the other two I was considering, but for what I got in the room, the reception and treatment I received from the staff, it was most definitely worth the money. I must give a special mention to Liza, she was always so cheerful, helpful and was a large part of a very enjoyable experience.If I ever get back to Auckland I would make sure that I stay at Barclay Suites.

    Excellent Central Stay and Great Value for Money

    We stayed here for one night in a two-bedroom apartment and found it to be a very convenient and comfortable option in central Auckland. The location is excellent — within walking distance of major attractions and key sites in the city center, which made exploring very easy.The apartment was practical and well-equipped, and having a washing machine was especially useful during our travels. The staff were lovely and welcoming, which added to the positive experience.Overall, the price was reasonable and it offers very good value for money, particularly for families needing extra space. A solid choice for a short stay in Auckland.

    Great stay here for a very good price and location (we had a view down to the harbour and also the Sky Tower). Close to everything we needed and a 5 minute walk to airport bus from the Sky Tower.Staff were friendly, professional and accommodating with allowing us to get into our apartment early and leave later. Nothing was too much trouble.The apartment itself is well used but squeaky clean, spacious and very well equipped-washing detergent for the very useful washing machine, clothes airer etc. Washing up liquid/cloth/teatowel too. Instructions etc vey helpful. Easy to use tv with multiple channels. Comfy bed and quiet at night.We really enjoyed relaxing here after a road trip and would def stay again, especially for the price.Thank you Barclay Suites.

    Close to everything. Staff were great. Always helpful. Our room had everything we needed and all in good condition. Any problems we just had to ask and it was sorted. Great stay.

(I checked in on 22th Apr, and they claimed to do the pre-authorization in the credit card but then charge me on the day I checked in at the end)The hotel made an “evidence” which was actually there before we got in the room, and saying we SMOKED, then they took money from my CC.THIS IS A CRIME.Please don’t book this hotel during your stay.千萬不要訂這這家酒店，他們會先問你拿了按金，然後再用不同理由誣衊客人，從來賺取你的按金。（他們在露台放了一枝有煙的水，然後誣衊我們吸煙，擅自扣取我們的按金。由於我們從來沒有走出去，也不是吸煙者，所以非常肯定是酒店有意圖地想賺取客人的按金）我是4月22號入住，他們在當天就從我信用卡扣取了按金（而非他們所說的「按金」），這樣跟犯罪無異。절대 이 호텔 예약하지 마세요. 사기 치는 호텔입니다.이 호텔은 체크인 때 보증금 받으면서 당일 허가없이보증금을 청구했고 체크아웃 때 다양한 이유로 보증금을 청구 할 것입니다.이 호텔은 저희 입주하기전에 테라스에서 담배 있는 물병을 설정했습니다. 입주자는 비흡연자고 테라스 나가지 않습니다.
