Location

The city hotel is in very close proximity to a number of Auckland's adventure attractions including the Sky Tower, Sky City Casino, Bridge Climb, Vector Arena and many restaurants and shopping centres. Britomart railway station is just 500 m from the hotel and Auckland International Airport is approximately 30 km away.

Facility

The hotel has 141 rooms, which are located on 18 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for a fee. Further services include medical assistance, room service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the view of the city from a balcony or terrace. Rooms include a double bed.     Really bad experience

    The location is very central, but unfortunately the noise at night is a serious issue. There is a bar directly downstairs, and every night there are people shouting and making noise until very late. Even with earplugs, I was not able to sleep properly. After two days without proper sleep, I even started to experience heart palpitations.I raised this issue with the hotel, but I was told there were no similar rooms available. The only option offered was to pay extra for an upgrade. I was also told that the noise was caused by the nearby bar, not the hotel, so they would not take responsibility. I was even advised to deal with it myself, such as asking the bar to be quieter or calling the police, which is not a realistic solution for a guest.In order to get some rest and be able to attend my classes, I had no choice but to pay extra to upgrade the room. However, even in the upgraded room, the balcony door lock was broken, and the hotel refused to fix it.I don’t think it is reasonable for guests to pay extra due to noise issues caused by the location, especially when the alternative room also has unresolved problems. This experience was very disappointing.     Find an alternative budget hotel

    If you want budget, this is budget. Its like you are in a jail cell with hardly any room. Bed was too short, had to sleep diagnolly. No resteraunt so got in late had to go out. Nowhere to out clothes, no ironing board or iron for work shirts. Had to step up into the bathroom, like you are in a caravan. Hallways and lifts stubk, particularly like smoke. Water leaking down the wall in reception. Great location however.     It's certainly nothing spectacular but you should not expect that from a budget hotel. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the location is perfect. Also, the view from the window was gorgeous. If you're looking for luxury, book a five star hotel. Otherwise, this is a perfect home base for exploring Auckland.     Great cheap hotel forca short stay

    This has been my go to hotel on short trips to Auckland. On this occassion it was overnight after attending the Edinburgh Tattoo at Eden Park. It has been some time since I last stayed and the hotel.appears to have under gone some renovation. My room 1602 was immaculately prepared with a small balconey and a small table. The bed was very comfortable and coffee and rtea making fixings werecavailable. A small fridge was also.available. plenty of quality towels and to be honestvI couldnt fault the room. I use this hotel primarily because of its price point as all I am after is a bed and its in central down town just off Queen Street. Will I use it again? Most definitely.     Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Period. Drunks sleeping in front of hotel. 1 elevator broken. Broken vending machines. Smallest prison like rooms No AC . Smallest windows. I will be requesting a full refund from Accor. Stay across the street at the Holiday Inn .
