    The hotel is very good, rooms are well appointed. Obviously it is set up for business as there is no breakfast or bar at the weekend.

    The hotel is conveniently located on the main street of Tauranga close to shops and eateries. The frontage is narrow so it’s easy to miss but it’s spacious inside as it goes back a long way. Our room looked out over the town, not as nice as the restaurant, which has a lovely view out over the bay. We enjoyed our evening meal there, with a nice choice of cocktails, also breakfast. It was very quiet when we were there and the waiter was very sociable. Just behind the hotel you can access the pretty waterside path. It was useful that there’s an underground car park at the hotel though you have to pay extra for it. Nice big comfortable beds!

    Central city, excellent priced accommodation. Easy reasonable cost parkingAmazing view from the restaurant /bar area where you are welcome to sit and relax at any time of the day in a lovely friendly atmosphere. Rooms are lovely, well appointed and clean with extra attention to detail. Loved the makeup remover kits and robes. Only thing missing for me was no shower cap.

    Very spacious room but some features were starting to look a little tired. We had an opening door for fresh air which was welcomed, however, we were looking over a construction area (car park sealing, installing car chargers etc). Thankfully the workers stopped at a reasonable time so there was no impact. The bed was so comfortable, the location to the harbour fantastic and the staff were helpful, although I was very surprised when half way through our cycle from Paeroa to Matamata on the morning of arrival, I received an email from the hotel saying my c/card payment did not go through and if I didn't contact them with payment ASAP, my reservation would be cancelled! Once I was able to email the hotel, as was having issues with phone coverage, they accepted the holding of the room. Running a business, I would have expected the hotel to review up and coming reservations and obtain a confirmation at least 3-5 days prior, also checking payment details as in this case, I had booked some time ago and the expiry date of my card had changed. I wanted to pay cash on arrival but was told cash is not taken. Cash is legal tender and should be taken everywhere, at least I thought. It seems as if the hotel is not run by a hospitality concern but by business people.

    Amazing Value, Everything Thought Of

    This hotel was quite a find. Located on the waterfront of sunny Tauranga, it was easy to locate with parking and EV charging available. The reception team were organised and ready for our arrival so check in fast and welcoming. The room was spacious (we recommend paying slightly more and getting the harbour view rooms), clean and bright. Loved the welcoming complimentary snacks. We really appreciated the two towels per person, the fluffy robes and the cooking facilities (microwave) with cutlery and plates. Bed was comfy and had plenty of pillows :)
