    Nice and relaxing place to stay while visiting the geothermal region. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfy!

    The room was large with a nice large walk in shower. The bed was very comfortable. The windows are only single glazed so quite a lot of noise from early morning from the main road traffic.Breakfast is continental unless you pay extra for eggs etc. reasonable choice of pastries and the homemade cheese scone and savoury pastry was nice. A limited selection of cold meat and cheese. Nice fresh fruit salad.The bread was a bit disappointing as just cheap sliced bread. Unfortunately large tour groups who had their own breakfast room used the breakfast area designated for other guests and blocked seating- needs to be sorted out!The outside area wasn’t very attractive and is very small with an access road close by and a noisy AC unit. The pool is small but probably OK for kids. There is no lounge inside the hotel.Location is good for the centre of town.

    Perfect little hotel/motel located on the main street of Rotorua.Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Wifi worked well and it had a nice home charm to it. There was ample parking and an easy walk into the city centre with lots of shops, restaurants and sights close by.Staff were all lovely to deal with - always had a smile on their faces and ready to help with any queries. Whilst I forgot her name, the lady that checked us in when we arrived was super helpful and ensured there were no issues getting to our room due to the very late evening arrival.This is definitely our first choice when we should return next to Rotorua.

    PlusesQuiet and comfortable room. Car parking on site. Woolworths supermarket is over the road which is handy. Not too far a walk into town to eat although there are a few restaurants (burgers etc) closer.MinusesBreakfast was ok but no fresh coffee which let it down massively, instant is horrid. Bread for toast was cheap sliced. Fresh fruit available which is great but no natural yogurt - they had some in the fridge on request on day one, day two not though. Room had bins emptied and fresh towels after first night but beds not made up - not a problem but not usual. Overall, I would stay elsewhere in Rotorua as it just was not quite good enough. This was booked as a group tour so had no choice on this occasion
