    Lovely hotel. Excellent location.Beds are so comfortable.The hotpools and swimming pool on site are great. The bar is cosy and serves great food.

    The location is great. The room I had was large. The hotel wasn’t noisy which was a plus. Additionally, the room was clean. However, the room and the bathroom were both dated. The bathroom, in particular, wad marked and had rusting features. The room was not worth the cost per night given it needing a revamp. Additionally, the pool area was outdated and needed modernizing.

    The outside and the lobby looked fine, but once inside our room we were transported to a budget motel that didn’t look like it had been updated or cleaned since the 1980s. Filthy and worn carpet, dated and worn bathroom with a single sink and the toilet crammed behind a door that seemed to be made of paper mache and didn’t latch, zero overhead lights in the main room (only a dim lamp on each nightstand). We never let our feet touch the floor and checked out after the first night (2 days early), booked a short distance away at the Millennium, which was very nice.

    Don’t Expect to Be Able to Use the Self-serve Laundry

    We booked our stay at the Novotel specifically because it offered self-service laundry for guests, which was important for during our multi-week vacation. However, the number of washers and dryers available (2) was completely inadequate for the size of the hotel and every time I attempted to do laundry (multiple time throughout two days) all the units were already being unused.     We arrived at 3.30pm (check in is at 2pm) and the room was not ready, came back after dinner and personnel at check in was not friendly at all. The hotel has a horrible feeling and decor, the room is similar to a hospital room. We travel the world for work and for passion and this is a very low standard hotel, do not spend the money and go elsewhere !!
