Location

The resort is perfectly located on the eastern shores of Lake Rotorua and only 5 minutes from Rotorua International Airport.

Facility

The resort has a lift and features 30 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A baggage storage service and a safe are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge. Other services include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Complimentary newspapers are available. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is included as standard in some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, a TV, a radio, a CD player, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. Sport

There are indoor and outdoor pools and a children's swimming area. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the resort, including a gym, a spa, a sauna, a steam bath and massage treatments. Parents can unwind while the kids can participate in an entertainment programme full of fun activities.

Meals

A restaurant, a dining room, a bar and a pub are available to guests. A continental breakfast buffet and lunch are served every day. The menu also offers diet meals and children's meals. The complex also offers special catering options.

    Somewhat rundown hotel but very comfortable king bed!

    We were upgraded to a superior suite for our 40th anniversary. While I’m very grateful this hotel is somewhat run down. We had a large spa tub in our room but it was filthy! The king bed in the separate bedroom was extremely comfortable. The kitchenette had a kettle some coffee, tea, hot chocolate packets but no toaster. They have an onsite restaurant that is open Tuesday to Sunday so I suppose they want you to eat there. We had a balcony overlooking the pool. We did not use the pool or the hot tub. They have a lift to the 2nd floor which we very much appreciated. It is located in the Holden Reserve area near a small beach. They have thousands of tiny bugs so they tell you to turn off the lights and close the blackout curtains so you won’t be bothered by the bugs! It’s about a 5-10 minute drive from the CBD. It was fine for the price we paid.

    A great escape. Will definitely go againFriendly staff, couldnt do enough to help. Right on the lakefront, gorgeous pool, spa and amenities. Clean room, no complaints.

    Amazing location, Nicky and Snow were incredible hosts. Restaurant dinner and breakfast were delicious. Bar area was very cool and enjoyed bar snacks.

    We stayed here for 2 nights and our room was clean and comfortable. We didn't use the restaurant as it seemed expensive for what it was. We also didn't use the spa.There appeared to be plenty of free parking and the reception staff were helpful.Reception didn't open until 8AM. We wanted to checkout at 8 and were waiting outside Reception until 0810 when a member of staff appeared. However she also couldn't get in, she wasn't a receptionist, and so she called the manageress. The manageress arrived looking incredibly angry at being disturbed by her paying guests wanting to checkout! She grunted at us and took our key without asking how our stay was or wishing us a good onward trip.

    I stayed for one night while in the area for work. Room was great and suitable for my needs. Some maintenance required but only minor. Had extra low rate due to low season and weekday. Comfortable bed, blackout blinds and good location backing onto lake. Only downside was that breakfast wasn’t available before 8 and I had to leave by 8.15 so had to get breakfast elsewhere. I managed to have a quick soak in the jacuzzi the evening I arrived and it was lovely. I would happily stay here again.
