The hotel is very easy to find as it is less than 5 minutes from the airport, just three minutes from State Highway 1 heading north or south, five minutes from State Highway 73 to the West Coast and the Inland Scenic Route and only 12 minutes from the city centre.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 15 rooms. English-speaking staff are happy to assist and advise. A baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The motel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The motel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge. Other services include a babysitting service, a childcare service, medical assistance, a transfer service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus.     We stayed in the motel part and the room was spotless and quiet. We requested a handicap room and it had all the accessable items we requested. The motel is close to the airport, restaurants and lots of tourist attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful.

    The room was clean and comfortable however the shower was over a bath which we had specifically asked not be the case. We arrived after hours and the arrangements for accessing the room were good. The motel served its purpose in that it was located near the Christchurch airport.

    So many motels I stay at these days are run down, tired and often dirty. This was not the case for Airport Christchurch Motel. Rooms are warm, clean and our room included a great kitchen with full sized appliances. Nice and close to the airport and easy access to the city.

    We needed a motel close to the airport before flying out of Christchurch the following morning. The Airport Christchurch Motel was perfect. Located close to the airport, it has large, clean well appointed rooms including a hob and a great walk-in shower. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us advise on local places to eat. The free shuttle to the airport the following morning was also extremely helpful. And all this for a very competitive price. Highly recommended.
