    We stayed with friends but it was a bit of business as well. This is one of the few tall buildings left in town after the huge earthquake. No one local likes height anymore but we enjoyed staying at this location and the height gave great perspective as it is still hard to orientate as so many of the past points of the city are gone. But it is a special location right next to new regent street full of restaurants and cafes. The cathedral in its sad state is right next door and a walk thro the city is easily done

    Good location shame about the small rooms with small windows

    It is in a handy location but the hotel itself has very tired rooms with very very small windows and very noisy plumbing. The heating was erratic and when we came back in on Sunday the cleaner had turned the heating off...it took hours to heat it again

    Made the mistake of returning to this hotel with an paid upgrade it was a joke.The rooms small and unkept, no balcony furniture, lights broken and when front desk advised nothing was done.
