Luxury, great location and terrific service

We stayed at Camp Estate for 2 nights and enjoyed every second. We were met with a glass of champagne offered by friendly staff and left after a first class, personally cooked breakfast. The time in between was spent in luxurious comfort - the room was enormous, with 2 aspect views of the Otago peninsular far below. There is abundant wildlife on the peninsular, including albatross and sea lions. We had dinner at the castle next door (the castle owns and runs Camp Estate) which was an experience in itself. The staff were professional, friendly and discrete. Trish was a star. The pictures tell the story. Book Camp Estate with confidence. Amazing

Amazing place to stay!

Wow this was such a great stay!Easy parking, gorgeous income, wow room with all comfort. Common (5 rooms) pre-dinner drink and breakfast with other guests. Trish, Hollie, Laurie are amazing in cooking and giving the best service ! Really feel like a « princess in a castle » there ;). Very confortable bed and linnen. 700m from the Larnach castle, where we had a fab dinner and guides tour of the castle.5 well deserved!

Perfect stay at Larnach Castle Camp Estate

Stayed for 2 nights and from the moment we walked through we were looked after very well. Trish is amazing and helped us with a dinner reservation and taxis. The room was very nice with a view out over Dunedin. Bed was very comfortable. Good minibar with wine, selection of soft drinks and brownies on arrival. The shower was the best we have ever had! Breakfast was run by a hostess and a chef….very efficiently. The eggs were cooked to perfection.There is the option to go to the castle for dinner but we chose to eat in town.

We recently spent 5 nights at Camp Estate and had a wonderful experience! The staff - Trish, Laurie, and several others whose names I can't recall were so kind, helpful, and generous. Our room, with 3 windows under the middle gable, may not have been the largest, but it had the most spectacular view out to the harbor and beyond. The king bed was very comfortable, the cooked-to-order breakfasts very good, and the afternoon cocktails and canapés special. The location is also ideal for wildlife viewing out on the peninsula as well as being not too far from downtown Dunedin. It was a lovely and relaxing end to our comprehensive New Zealand tour.

We had such a good 2 night stay here. The staff were the most friendly of all the hotels we stayed at on our tour of NZ. They brought us a platter after our long journey from Twizel, and they also did our laundry which we were very thankful for. You get complimentary entry to Larnach Castle as well. We didn’t have the meal at the Castle as we had other plans, but the breakfast was very good, and on our last day we had an early flight but they let us have breakfast early. Really friendly and excellent service thanks
