    This was meant to be a special occasion stay but due to the property being under major renovation it didn’t live up to our expectations. What was most disappointing was the fact that no one had informed me of the major renovation program at time of booking (booked through Hotels.com (Expedia). If I had known I would have stayed else where. Despite the very disappointing experience there was one outstanding employees who did try his best to turn our stay experience around. The Friday pm duty manager (Kial) did go above and beyond for us and on the back his efforts (alone) I’d be prepared to give this property a second chance when I next visit Queenstown. QT does do some nice guest interactions - afternoon wine n cheese tastings and pastry n juice offerings in the morning (both complimentary). Property location is good too. Just a pity about the major renovations at this time (of our stay).     QT Queenstown exceeded every expectation and delivered one of the finest hotel experiences my husband and I have ever had.We initially stayed during the RANZCO conference and loved it so much that we extended our visit for two additional nights purely for pleasure — and we were so glad we did.What truly sets this hotel apart is the extraordinary staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely eager to help. The concierge team was absolutely exceptional, always going above and beyond to assist with anything we needed. Their kindness and attention to detail made such a difference and turned an already beautiful stay into something truly special.The hotel itself is stunning, with spectacular views overlooking the lake and mountains. Waking up each morning to that scenery was unforgettable.QT also offers so many thoughtful touches that elevate the entire experience: complimentary wine and cheese in the afternoons, lovely pastries in the mornings, and whisky and chocolates in the evening. These little extras created such a warm and luxurious atmosphere.The buffet breakfast was outstanding — an enormous variety of fresh and delicious foods, beautifully presented, and enjoyed with breathtaking lake views.The conference hosted at the hotel was flawlessly executed as well, with excellent catering, audiovisual support, and organization throughout.Most importantly, though, it was the culture of hospitality that impressed us most. The staff consistently made us feel valued, cared for, and welcomed. This was truly a first-class, five-star experience from beginning to end.     QT Queenstown is positioned on the Esplanade with views across the lake, towards the mountains. It is undergoing modernisation. A short 5 min walk to town, where there are multiple choices for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff are incredible and cannot please you enough. Our room was fully equipped with everything we needed although the bathroom floorwhen wet is very slippery.They have free wine tasting daily, there is also a roof bar and restaurant on site. Will definitely stay here again.     One of the best hotels

    Our family of four started in two lakeview twin-bedded rooms. Booking was easy, check-in was seamless; Belan was a great hostess. The newly renovated hotel and our rooms very well appointed. Breakfast was a very good spread; we enjoyed Johnny’s hospitality at the egg station. All in a lovely stay. We will return.     Best hotel in Queenstown

    Loved our stay at the QT Queenstown. Although it was undergoing some renovations at the rear and upper floors it didn’t impact our stay and rarely heard any noise. We stayed in a Lake view king in the newly renovated section and the room was fabulous, very luxurious and spacious and had an amazing view. Even better were the wonderful staff and the very high level of service. From check in, to room service, to the nightly treats they left on our bed everything was very well managed and with a smile and always helpful advice. Everything was perfect. Have travelled to many countries and hotels and found the QT one of the nicest places we have stayed. With the renovations completed it will be the premiere hotel in Queenstown.
