    Short stay overnight on a business trip but very nice. Comfortable hotel room with lovely decor. All the expected amenities. Very well appointed gym. Located in the heart of Wellington and a stone's throw from parliament. Easy walk to shops and central business district.     The service and decor are great. There's a friendly bar in the foyer. We were upgraded, and the room was massive. It was well-appointed and had everything you might need. Very clean and comfortable. It is a little walk from Lampton Quay, but not far.     Stayed here as part of a large group trip ahead of a game at Hnry Stadium and can't speak highly enough of the hotel. The staff were excellent, incredibly accomodating and a pleasure to deal with. Rooms were very spacious and had all of the touches you hope to have in a Sofitel room. Cocktails at the bar were excellent and breakfast was expansive. The gym was also very well fitted out.
