  Buyer Beware!!

  I don’t like leaving negative reviews but if I could give this place 0 stars I would. We paid almost $1100 for a room that had a view of the buildings rooftops. The people checking in before us paid $800 and had a balcony. I asked the assistant manager to change rooms and he told me nothing was available. It’s a long story but the man refused to call his manager and was pretty rude.   Charming hotel with lovely restaurants

  What a lovely hotel with super star staff. I had issues with a tour (nothing to do with the hotel) but Karla dd her very best to sort it out. She couldn't have been sweeter or kinder. When we arrived, she patiently dealt with moving our room with a smile. She also booked our dinners - so good. Be sure to stay here! It's charming and small- but don't wait to book. With 41 rooms it goes quickly.Rooms: I would say that the harbor views are nicer but husband and I don't like queen sized beds (Norway simply doesn't have kings) so we wanted 2 singles which are only on the mountain side.   Beautiful Hotel and great location

  Lovely hotel. Staff were very welcoming. The room was good with lovely views of the fjord and had a double aspect balcony. We ate in the gastro pub (Viking themed) which was a great experience. We had the Viking plank with a flight of beers which was delicious. Breakfast was also good with a great selection to choose from. Wonderful hotel.   Lovely little traditional Nordic hotel in Flam with stunning views of the Fjords! Rooms are on the small side for more than two people but beautiful none the less.
