    Stayed for one night having had other accommodation cancelled last minute due to Staff strikes. Reception staff pretty abrasive. Room was small with no kettle or soap etc. No much lighting in room. Breakfast was worth the extra money and had a good choice. I liked the digital board near lifts that notified you of the early airport bus times. Our room overlooked the flats opposite and the small window curtain needed to be open to allow extra light in. If you're into voyeurism ask for rooms between 335-341 and 435 - 441 as the guy who lives opposite likes to walk around naked in his apartment. A reminder if you can see them, they can likely see you. We left luggage in the secure storage room whilst we explored Bergen for the rest of the day. It is by far secure and we were able to just go and access it ourself on return.

    Perfect hotel in a perfect location. Easy 15 minute walk from train station and Havila departure port. Room very comfortable and clean. Very quiet room.Included breakfast was great. Cereals, cold cuts, cheeses breads, coffee & tea. There was nothing else we could ask for.Happy courteous staff.

    This is a clean and comfortable hotel in a good location. I believe I stayed in a double bed superior room. I had a great view from my room (416) including some of the wooden buildings across the water in the Bryggen area of town. I enjoyed staying in this less touristy area of the city. It was a great location and I walked everywhere. The neighborhood behind the hotel has some beautiful old homes. I would definitely recommend a walk around that area. The room was quite comfortable and more spacious than I had anticipated. Breakfast was fine and I appreciated the early weekday breakfast start time of 6:30 a.m. as I had a pretty early departure on my last day and it was great to be able to have breakfast before a long day of travel. The staff was friendly and helpful. I appreciated their efforts to be environmentally friendly by having barrels for recycling in the entrance area. To the right of the reception desk, not immediately noticeable when you first walk in is a fairly large and comfortable lobby area with sofas, comfortable chairs, etc. The hotel is fairly basic and is not luxurious but it provides a clean and comfortable place to stay (including a decent breakfast ) at a good price.     Ok, but need improvement.

    Positive: Friendly and serviceminded reception. Negative: dirty shower with hairs on the wall. Got late to an important meeting because i got blocked in their garage by a staff car and a electricians car which blocked the whole gate, he was rude as well. I also payed 30 euros for the hotels garage, will use a public garage next time.
