    This is not a four star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. More like a two star. Maybe the rooms inside the main building are nicer, but our room in a nearby building was shabby, cramped, and did not have any outlets next to the bed. Additionally, the shower/tub is very unsafe! The inside of the tub is much higher than the floor so when wet, one has to balance on one foot and drop a distance of over two feet. The only thing to hold onto is a MOVING glass door. I’m really shocked no one has been seriously injured by now. On the up side, the beds are very comfortable, the room was clean, and the staff was very friendly. The main reception building is nice so if you can’t stand being in your room, you can go sit there. We had breakfast which was pretty average. The crepe pancakes were hard as a rock on one side. Would not recommend but if you’re going to roll the die, ask specifically for a room in the main building (I don’t know that they’re better, only that the reception area there seems nice).

    First time visitor to Norway and the close location to the cruise port gave me comfort. Near food options. Lovely, helpful staff and other guests.

    Rooms very so comfy great size and the bathroom was a luxurious size bath with piping hot shower. Great location a bit out of the heart of Bergen , was a bit noisy Saturday night with university drinkers.The breakfast was the best I have ever had such a range for everyone. Staff were happy to help with anything you asked.
