    Firstly-this is definitely a budget hotel and the reception area belies the functional sparseness of the rooms Public areas seem very well appointed but the rooms lack adequate power points/bedside light/tables -there were no tea making facilities -on a positive note the room was clean and the bed although small was comfortable Breakfast was excellent apart from there being just one coffee machine which was out of order on our final dayThe location is great with lots of lively bars and restaurants

    We had a large room with coffee table and settee and metal bunk beds , which were comfortable . The bathroom was very small for a family room. The shower doors weren’t easy to keep together in the small space within. Breakfast was very busy with one coffee machine and long queues, but there was hot water seperate and some coffee. There were cereals but no muesli. There were spicey new potatoes to go with scrambled egg etc . That was different. There was a kettle in the foyer to make tea any time. We did walk from the station and then used the tram just outside . There are restaurants across the bridge . RT

    Beds comfortable and room clean. Slept wellBathroom shower incredibly small can barely wash hair in cubicle.Breakfast needs some major improvements, bacon inedible, scrambelled eggs not noice either, no black tea they ran out. Quite odd when there is an expected amount of people already booked in. Breakfast was crazy busy would improve with a staggered entry.

    The Anker hotel was absolutely perfect for my stay. 20 minutes walk from the train station and the ability to go to the all tourist destinations easily. The room was warm (in March this is needed), the hotel was quiet at night for sleeps. Breakfast was one of the best options for vegans I've had on travelling all across the world. 10/10 all round.

    What a perfect hotel just outside the city… has a tram stop right outside doors with a tram running every 2/3 mins - Can’t fault room bathroom or anything. Was absolutely spotless - breakfast again faultless and I shall miss the spicy new potatoes ❤️. Have nothing but praise for this hotel although a mini fridge and kettle would of been a added bonus but we survived without them (can get tea and coffee downstairs and we put our cheese and sandwich items in the window - keep them very cold) Would definitely recommend to anyone to stay here and we will definitely be back.
