  We had a pleasant time here,during our long weekend.The room was small but spacious, clean and offered all we needed. The only thing missing was some storage / hanging space in the bathroom for our toiletries.The highlight was definitely the very central location of the hotel. We were able to walk to almost all of our activities or take the train/tram that stopped almost in front of the hotel.

  Dear visitorsI am warning you never share your credit card details with this hotel.i have stayed in this hotel and gave my credit card details for booking.and after i left the hotel they have charged extra 1500 euro without my knowledge and i just stayed one night.i have asked from my bank to refund the money and they keep searching but watch out and never let them take your card , they scam while they keep yoo waiting for reservation process

  Location. Diagonally opposite Oslo S (central train station). Take the exit door towards Karl Johan Gate, 2-3 minutes walk you reach the hotel. Walkable to main attractions. Hotel exit turn right lead you to Opera House, Munch Museum. Hotel exit turn left lead you to Karl Johan gate - walk all the way up to the end is Royal Palace , in which City Hall , Nobel Price museum , Aker Brygge are reachable along the way.

  Avoid this ripoff hotel!!

  Comfort Hotel Xpress Central has no amenities and that includes noise reduction! I was never told about the major construction across the one lane street when I booked a room. The room is small with a few hooks in the wall. No closet. WORST of all is that when asked for an extra night four days before arrival, I was told the Xpress was Full and no rooms were available. A day later, a room appeared. I was given a two-night price. The final billing added $305 for the extra night (first night was $139). Problem was the hotel had lots of rooms. Only two other parties on our floor. One morning there was a fire alarm, and only 5 people came out while 50+ people came out from the smaller adjacent hotel. Bait and Switch? No, much worse! The Comfort Hotel Xpress Central used “ Lie and Price Gouge!” This was my first and last experience with the Strawberry hotel line’s Comfort Hotel Xpress Central.   This was an amazing stay. I wasn’t expecting much considering the price but I was positively surprised. I stayed in the basic room with queen as I was travelling solo. The room had everything including a desk. My room was facing the street but it wasn’t noisy at all.They had a nice bar in the lobby that is stocked with all kinds of drinks and snacks. There are several food places around so it shouldn’t be hard to get something more substantial. I stayed at another hotel in Oslo during the trip which had more stars ( and a price to match that) but it wasn’t much better than this. Although it was more central. Highly recommend.
