Location

This hotel is located in the centre of Oslo, close to the National Gallery. The nearest Metro station is Stortinget. The Royal Palace, Aker Brygge Harbour, restaurants, bars, nightlife and shopping opportunities can all be found in the vicinity. The central train station and the bus station are both about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The Munch Museum, Holmenkollen and Vigelandsparken are all just a short drive away.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1913. The hotel has a lift and features 127 rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Rooms

    This is our second stay at Hotell Bondeheimen. Very central in Oslo, close to the train station. The room was spacious and clean. We had a room towards the back of the hotel, nice and quite. Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and plenty of it.We just stayed for one night, after a lovely holiday in the north of Norway, perfect for catching the train to the airport the following day.     Ok stay in this hotel for 2 nights - hotel is in a good location in Oslo and close to shops, restaurants and the harbour. It is a bit run down but otherwise clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and they have a restaurant in the hotel which was good. Room was spacious. The heating/thermostat in our room didn't work and kept beeping which was annoying but otherwise room was good. Would probably look elsewhere if staying in Oslo again.     Great location. Room ok - bed fine, very limited storage options. Rooms facing courtyard will have to suffer a gigantic exhaust pipe if you sleep with an open window, so I don’t know whether courtyard facing rooms are a better option in terms of noise than street facing rooms. Bathroom fine.Breakfast - basically ok, except the bread selection and the coffee. The freshly grinded coffee beans machine was unacceptable slow, and ended up breaking down. The pre-brewed coffee tasted awful.     Comfy bed, big bathroom, uneven lighting (no bright light by the bed), no closet, no drawers (well, one tiny one), really only one spot to put a piece of luggage. Great traditional breakfast, really good. Responsive front desk. Complaint - I'm so tired of hotels that announce they're so eco-friendly that you can reuse your towels if you hang them up, rather than leaving on the floor and then change out your towels anyway.     Very clean room and ok size for a single, super comfortable bed, tasty traditional Norwegian food in the restaurant. Friendly and attentive staff. Great central location!
