  The stay was nice, great with cold breakfast buffet starting early! the only thing, is that the shuttle bus i had to pay for. The driver said i had to have a ticket from the hotel, but nobody at the hotel during check in or check out never mentioned it (i did ask about the shuttle during check in). I never had to pay for shuttle buses in other hotels, so it was strange, and also strange nobody mentioned it.

  Terrible, try to avoid

  Stuck staying the night near Oslo airport before an early morning flight. Hotels near the airport can be dicey.But this one - Scandic Oslo - stood out as particularly dreadful.Arrived at 9pm, and the nightmare of this stay began with paying 25euro to take a (should be complimentary) shuttle bus. Which takes forever because no one thinks they have to pay, so they have to pay with the driver. After a half hour rigmarole you then get to the hotel and the other people from the bus run to get into a line where only one person is working.By the time you get through the line and drop your bags in a remote corner of the hotel, the hotel restaurant is closed. Of course, they *could * have warned us about it closing or provide alternative options/ suggestions when checking us in but that would have involved some care or attention on the part of the person working. The restaurant hostess was surly and seemed to enjoy telling us the place was closed (although the people from the bus who ran ahead of us were right there, eating…. Annoying!) Everything else in the area is also closed. Because while flights come in at all hours of the night, no one needs to eat (?) Moving into the room … It was dirty and there were a multitude of dead flies and wasps that had not been cleaned. The cups and the saucers for tea were covered in dust. There was a weird smell in the room. It overlooked an abandoned parking lot.Do not recommend !! Oslo Airport S, at Scandic Oslo Airport, responded to this review Thank you for your review.   Good food, but that's it!

  Very good and varied food, so that was a plus! There was an error at check-in where the receptionist wrote the completely wrong room number on the key card, so I couldn't get into the room. The room was extremely hot, with no way to adjust the temperature (I’ve never experienced this anywhere else), and it wasn't possible to open the window much either. The door was poorly soundproofed, resulting in a lot of noise from the corridor. The room wasn't properly cleaned; there were large soap residues in the sink (clumps) and used toilet paper in the toilet.The shower (showerhead) was broken, so water sprayed in all directions from the hose.They had forgotten to charge both of the two card terminals in the hotel bar, so it wasn't possible to pay by card there. Additionally, the staff were more preoccupied with their own phones than serving the customers who were standing and waiting. All of these negative experiences in one stay is very unlucky and is very unusual:-( I have sent all of the complaints to the different departments and we expect them to follow up the issues. That the reception wrote the wrong number on the original key card was a mistake that should not happen but the key could not open the wrong door because it was programed to your correct room. The room temperatures can be adjusted separately in reception as the information in the room explains. We have many guests from other areas of the world who love to have the temperature hot in their rooms, I am sorry your room was one that was "extremely" hot. The windows open in every room, but cannot open fully because of safety issues. The cleanliness of the room should aways be of a high standard so I apologize if your room was not. The shower head also should not have been broken, but thank you for informing us now. I hope you contact the hotel manager at your earliest convivence.

  If you’re looking for a good, clean, and quiet hotel, this is the perfect place. And if great customer service matters to you, then you should definitely stay here. At the main desk, you’ll find a wonderful man named Gerard.. he will help you with anything and somehow manage to make even your craziest ideas work.
