    10 min by train to the center of Oslo, close to the conference venue, it is a perfect hotel to stay with clean rooms, very friendly staff and a marvelous breakfast

    Overbooked hotel

    The hotel was overbooked the evening of our stay, so we had to share rooms with a colleague to solve the issue. The staff was very embarrassed and did as well as they could to accommodate us, including some compensation to make up for the annoyance.     Normal place to spend a night near Oslo

    Small room. Clean. Good furniture. Reception team was ok. Restaurant and breakfast, so so... Not bad but not memorable either. Quick stay in a small town. After travelling for many years and being into hundreds of hotels in more than 50 countries, it becomes more difficult to evaluate as I also compare with other hotels I have been to,... Trying to be accurate though.     We enjoyed our 2 days stay at Thon Hotel Lillestrøm. Room where of a good standard. When we had a meeting canceled on the day of checkout there was no problem for us to have a late checkout. The breakfast area is also a local restaurant that is open until 12 pm on weekends, perfect if you are at a conference and want to grab a late evening snack. Also, the restaurant had great service during breakfast and was more than happy to help with any requests. In short, the service was overall great.     Hot and difficulty sleeping

    The hotel has really nice and velcoming staff. A+ for them. The room was nice and tidy but the hotel has no climate system and the room was crazy hot and the hot air made it super difficult to sleep for both adults and children. The room had a small table fan but it was to small for such a big room with 4 people sleeping in it. Sadly this will make me choose another hotel in the future.
