    There was noise almost the entire night long. I was unable to sleep here. Also the airport “shuttle” is not provided by the hotel. You need to buy a ticket.

    A lovely birthday stay near Gardermoen

    We had a wonderful stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and one of the best we have had, with plenty of choices for both adults and children.The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary suite upgrade for my birthday, which made the stay even more special.This is not the first time I have had positive experiences both at this hotel and at other Thon Hotels., and I would happily stay here again when travelling through Gardermoen.

    Great hotel - very accommodating staff. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Comfortable beds. Take the S22 shuttle from the airport.     What happens in a monopoly

    Decided to stay here before a flight out, as the hotel chain I hold status at is not in Norway. And every OSL airport hotel appears to be a Thon property. Pros: The staff was very polite, and check in was painless, Room is clean Bathrobes Rooms are quiet with proper soundproofingCons:Good luck casting to the TV, which was an issue we also had at another Thon property a few days ago. After an hour and one trip to the lobby we finally gave up, as our room number never did show up in the scroll. Not the best UX. Remote is pretty much dead, but if you point it 90 deg off the TV it does work eventually.Turning the heat up? Not happening. You can actually see the thermostat screen if you look at it an angle with the lights dim, but good luck getting anything to change the temp. A dial with up/down & heat/air tabs might work better than the hieroglyphics on the screen. And no luck with the radiator thermostat. Again, a rather sub-optimal UX. Showers that turn on like a touchless sink in an airport bathroom? Very tacky. We do not waste water, but after a long trip it's nice to take a long shower without having to wave your hand in front of the sensor while your face is covered in soap after the shower decides you've bathed enough. Guessing this is under the guise of saving water, but more likely saving a water heating bill. The airport shuttle schedule somewhat made sense if you stared at it for a while; another frequent traveller and I decipered it together but it took a bit, and still not quite sure.Heading to breakfast now, fingers crossed.
