  I think this hotel is the best option in Khasab for those who want to relax after a mountain safari or a boat trip in the Arabian fjords, swimming, or dolphin watching. Don't expect much, it's a small hotel with just enough comfort for those who find themselves here, almost at the end of the world. Musandam is a wonderful place in itself, where you can really escape from the madness of what we call the world today. It's worth going back at sunset or getting up at sunrise to enjoy the mountains in golden shine from the terrace. Buffet dinner and breakfast are included in the price, and the dishes are served in a very lavish manner and are also delicious. A special feature is that you can also order alcoholic beverages here; the red wine was excellent, but there is also a bar in the hotel building.

  Beautiful place to visit but skip staying at Atana

  Stayed here multiple times over the years as there are little or no options when visiting mussanadam when it comes to this Well located but old and tired hotel in need of updating & upgrading. Staff are great and do their best but its poorly run and this time disappointed to the extent that we won`t be back. In the abbsence of any visible management personnel its just one disappointment after another. Many of the Advertised F&B options were not available .With the exception of breakfast which is just ok , all other offerings were well below par even for a 3* establishment. Prices on the other hand are extortionate considering whats on offer, and thats before they add four seperate additional taxes totalling about 25% of the bill! Its a real shame as this is a beautiful part of Oman and needs a decent hotel given it popularity with visitors from local market and other nearby countries.

  Serene, scenic and peaceful stay!

  We had an awesome holiday at Atana Khasab Hotel - 5th to 8th June 2025. The sea view suite was spectacular and spacious. The ocean was mesmerising and scenic. The service was excellent from the start to end - pick up, reception, buffet breakfast & dinner, room cleanliness, drop off. Latifa was very kind and patiently responded to our queries before we arrived. Our pickup from the airport was on time, pleasant driver. Quannaf at reception was very polite & professional. Khulood arranged for the superb Dhow cruise. Housekeeping team on the 4th floor were very diligent. The food & beverage team served with hospitality & proficiency. Kamran was very swift & courteous. Dhaneesh, Hassan, too were prompt. Chef Rubia prepared perfect omelettes. Chef Samsudian prepared delicious prawns curry. The buffet was a vast spread of various delicious food items. The most exciting was Desi night which was very festive and mouth watering dishes. We enjoyed every moment, relaxed, unwound and overall a truly blissful place.
