    Excellent option for an extended flight transit.We originally booked for an overnight stay but ended up with a 15 hour day-transit in Muscat due to flight changes and the staff were very accomodating in allowing a somewhat extended day-stay. Impressive modern and very comfortable hotel, relatively close to the airport and with a lovely outdoor pool area which was a blessing in the 47 deg C heat. Helpful staff arranged a taxi for a bit of a look around Muscat (13 OMR per hour) after we had a bit of a rest and freshen-up and the Grand Mosque was certainly well worth seeing despite the heat, while the markets were worth a quick look. Hotel driver in shmick Audi to meet us after an early morning arrival was a nice touch though not a bargain at around 12 OMR for relatively short distance. Would definitely stay here again is passing through Muscat.     The location is convenient on the lobby level of the hotel. The restaurant is clean, elegant and serene. The service is amazing. We were served by Umesh and Ashwani. Very friendly, courteous and kindly offered their suggestions when asked. The food was so flavorful and the portions were generous.
