    Clean and comfortable stay. The hotel offers good value for money and a decent buffet breakfast. Beds were comfortable and rooms and bathroom were clean and very guest friendly. The staff on reception weren’t the friendliest/most helpful however, which is unusual for Oman.     An excellent clean, neat and pleasant hotel, close to the malls with easy access to taxis. The hotel itself is very well maintained, with spacious rooms, a good gym and swimming pool. Excellent & friendly staff & atmosphere, they always go out of their way to help!     Disappointing hotel which failed in so many ways.

    Highly disappointing stay.I am deeply disappointed with my recent stay at the hotel. What was meant to be a relaxing trip was marred by unacceptable room conditions and poor service. I was staying for over a week and I always find a hotel to be such a positive part of the holiday experience. Sadly, this hotel was unremarkable and below standards.Cleanliness: My first room was filthy, with thick dust everywhere and—disturbingly—red liquid splattered on the walls and doors. The peanuts under the bed added character for sure.Service & Housekeeping: Even after moving rooms, the issues continued. Housekeeping was inconsistent; frequently left without toilet paper, and the towels provided were often ripped or not replaced at all. I had ripped towels on two occasions, and in a hotel of this grade, that is unacceptable. On the first morning, I realised that there was no shower gel in the dispenser and saw there was gel on the shower floor. On closer examination, I found that there was a hole in the bottom of the dispenser. I left the top out, hoping it would be noticed. Sadly, it wasn't, and I had a heap of shower gel on the shower floor every day. What a waste!Dining: The food was bland and repetitive. The breakfast was so bad that I actually stopped going. Alarmingly, I found a sharp piece of plastic in my meal, which staff claimed was from a broken bowl. I highlighted this to staff and received an apology, but this could have been a small child, and it could have had awful consequences. There was a noticeable, uncomfortable tension among the dining room staff, and I never felt welcomed or at ease whilst there throughout my week long stay. I arrived as a stranger and left as a stranger. None of the staff made any effort to engage apart from the lovely guy who works at the swimming pool. I always leave a hotel knowing the names of staff, but I didn't get to know the name of anybody on this trip. Reception & Transport: The front desk staff were cold and failed to even acknowledge guests passing by. Additionally, the hotel-affiliated taxi service charged three times the standard local fare. This seemed to be normal practice, and I found that using a taxi app was considerably cheaper.I will not be returning and strongly advise others to look elsewhere. This was a significant holiday and was not cheap. I came away feeling disappointed and let down.
