Worst hotel ever! Every time you take a shower it’s the question if you’ll have hot water. Mostly not! Coffee cups and coffee in the room but no coffee maker, ironing board but no iron… and I could go on and on…Very old and poorly maintained hotel. I would never recommend this and will certainly never come back here! Decapolis, you are not worth any stars!

From the outside, this hotel looks nice, and the lobby feels decent enough to give you hope. But once you step off the elevator, it’s a completely different story. The halls and rooms are extremely dated, with no signs of renovation. I stayed in **room 1309**, and the bed was basically a wooden box with plywood showing—hard as a brick with just a sheet on top.To make things worse, I saw a roach in the middle of the night, and my friend saw another one while we were getting ready to leave. When I told the front desk, the staff just brushed it off.The staff overall were friendly, but not helpful. The bellman actually placed our luggage in the wrong room. When we tried to get in, our keys didn’t work, and housekeeping had to help us figure it out. Turns out, our bags were in a room that belonged to another couple just checking in. I called the front desk for help retrieving our belongings, but no one ever came. Thankfully, the couple themselves were understanding, and we got our luggage back from their room—not because of the hotel staff, but in spite of them.The breakfast wasn’t bad, but that was the only decent part of the stay. This hotel is advertised as 4 stars, but it’s really a 1.5 at best. The website is very misleading. Honestly, I would have rather stayed at a Motel 6. I didn’t even pick this place—it was for my friend’s birthday trip—and it was a major disappointment.Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Disgusting Bathroom, Dirty Floors – Never Again

I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience at the Decapolis Hotel was shockingly poor. The bathroom was filthy—grime in the shower, stains on the toilet, and a musty odor that hit the moment I walked in. The windows were smudged and hadn’t been cleaned in what looked like weeks. Even the floors felt sticky and looked dirty.

Very good hotel with helpful staff and nice continental breakfast. Hotel is not new. It needs some renovation but it is on acceptable level. Elevator frequency was a little bit annoying. There were many times we had to wait many minutes for an elevator. Use Uber for transportation to old town.

My first trip to Panama was made even more memorable thanks to the incredible team at Martini Sushi Bar! Sushi Chef Juan crafted some of the most delicious and artfully prepared sushi I’ve ever had, every bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Bartender Marlon kept the good vibes flowing with expertly mixed drinks and an energy that made the experience even more enjoyable. And Cashier Tania? She welcomed me with such warmth that I felt right at home from the moment I walked in. Their hospitality, skill, and genuine kindness made my visit truly special. This was more than just a meal, it was an experience, and I can’t wait to come back!
