  Great stay with rooftop pool & vegan options

  Nice hotel in Panama City with spacious, clean rooms and minibar. Very friendly and helpful staff. As vegans, we got a special breakfast, which was a big plus. There’s a gym and a rooftop pool (sometimes closed due to construction). Elevator is slow. Good location, about 10–12 min by taxi to the old town. Supermarket nearby.

  Great Location, Rooms are Run-down, Breakfast not good. Some staff only speaks Spanish. Staff doesn’t smile.

  The hotel was in a good walkable location. The rooms were in not good shape. I guess you get what you pay for. The carpet in the elevators needs to be vacuumed. The breakfast isn’t very good. And why don’t the staff smile? I get that I’m in Panama and Spanish is the native language, however, this is the hospitality industry and you should not have someone working in the restaurant that speaks no English. Heck, I’m only here for 7 days and know a little bit of Spanish. They are fixing the exterior of the building including the pool/hot tub area. There are signs in the elevator. Question is when are you doing the rooms.

  Nowadays this hotel is not 4 stars.The elevators, rooms, bathroom l need refurbished.The worst impression was done by the pool. Dirty area and water.Better you close it and refurbished it. The area is good. Everything: stores, restaurants, farmacy etc in 10 min walk.

  We stayed two different times. The first was great - lovely room and delicious breakfast. Nice front desk staff. Unfortunately the pool was closed the whole time of our stay. Sadly, the second stay was not good. The room had many problems - the thermostat in the middle of the night went down to freezing. The toilet was broken and the door to the bathroom got stuck closed. We arrived late at night so did not have the energy to try to switch.Not sure if I can recommend unless you can make sure you get a good room.
