  Very cute. Loved the courtyard to enjoy breakfast and coffee with our friends. Beds were very comfortable and cozy. Staff was so friendly, helpful and accommodating.

  I don’t recommend if you’re a light sleeper

  I want to start by saying that the hotel has a beautiful courtyard and a very warm, welcoming atmosphere. Tea was available all the time, which was a lovely touch, especially after long days exploring. The receptionist was extremely kind, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. She would refill hot water for tea whenever it ran out, helped arrange packed breakfasts for our very early tours, and assisted when the hot water wasn’t working. She turned on the water heater for us, which typically took about 20 minutes before we could shower. The WIFI was very slow so she would restart it. Her kindness and attentiveness were truly appreciated.However, despite the positive service, I unfortunately couldn’t sleep well during my 4-night stay. I was assigned to the only available room next to the courtyard at the same time a large group of college students (around 30 people) were staying at the hotel as part of a tour or program. Every evening and early morning became very noisy, as they gathered in the courtyard to hang out, play cards, and socialize.They would typically gather from around 6 pm to midnight, and again from 6am to 9am. On multiple evenings and mornings, they also sang together in chorus. This made it very difficult to sleep early or rest in the morning, and I found myself increasingly exhausted day after day due to lack of sleep.My original plans to sleep early or sleep in the next day was ruined, and I was exhausted day after day because of lack of sleep. The room’s location — just a few feet from the courtyard — also made things feel awkward. Me and my husband were the only guest not part of the group, and they essentially invaded the entire courtyard space, so we didn’t feel comfortable using the courtyard. Whenever I opened my door, they could see directly into the room, and I had to walk across the courtyard in the middle of their group to get tea from the kitchen and walk back. I even had to knock before entering the room to make sure my husband wasn’t getting dressed, since the door opened directly into the shared space.On their last morning, even as they were checking out, the group began singing again from around 6:30am until almost 9am.I had planned this part of my trip to be flexible and relaxing before heading to Aguas Calientes, but unfortunately, the lack of rest made it feel much less relaxing than expected.Overall, service and staff is good but the hotel only looks Instagrammable, but the structure of the hotel amplify the noise and the room location significantly impacted our experience, I could hear the staff walking, cleaning and talking on my last morning at around 6am , which I didn’t mind since I was checking out that last morning. If you’re a light sleeper, I would not recommend this place, but if you’re planning to wake up early every day for tours, then it could be hit or miss since you don’t who else is staying at the same time you’ve booked.

  Wonderful stay

  We had a wonderful stay! In walking distance to the plaza, restaurants and shopping. Staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. Very clean rooms every day. I loved the common eating area, it’s beautiful and relaxing. We had a delicious breakfast each morning as well. Would definitely recommend!

  It's a very pleasant small hotel with the rooms surrounding a beautiful roofed courtyard. It was clean, reasonably priced, and well-maintained. The breakfast was great and the manager and others were helpful and friendly. It was located within a few blocks of the main square. As is common all over Cusco (and all hotels), the sidewalks are narrow and the drivers aggressive on the streets, so walk carefully. The only negative to this hotel is that with a central courtyard, when people (including us) left very early in the morning (common for trips to Rainbow Mountain, the Inca Trail, etc.), some noise entered the rooms. With ear plugs and possibly a white-noise app on your phone, that problem is easily solved. We would stay again.
