  The staff was beyond hospitable. They took really great care of me and my family and always did so promptly and with a smile on their face. I didn't bring a phone with me, so they even helped me print our boarding tickets. The rooms and common areas were very clean. The breakfast every morning was delicious. They stored our bags safely while we were going on tours and spending the nights at different places. The location couldn't be better right in the main plaza with all kinds of restaurants and shops at walking distance. I would 100% recommend staying here.

  We stayed here before and after our Salkantay Trek and they were fantastic. They stored our bags for us for the week. The location can’t be beat, literally 5 steps from Plaza de Armas. And the staff was so helpful and attentive. They even helped us get nurses to come to the hotel to get our COVID-19 rapid tests done for return to the US. They went above and beyond to take care of us. Rooms were clean and comfortable, it just took a little while (10-15min) for the water to heat up and the floors were a tick squeaky but nothing that impacted our trip. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

  My girlfriend and I traveled to the Loreto Boutique Hotel March 8th thru April 1st 2020, where we planned to climb Salkantay and Machu Picchu. Our first three days at the Loreto went very well as we acclimated to the altitude and enjoyed the City of Cusco. We then left on our fourth day to go climbing/camping for four days, and when we were done we intended on staying in an Airbnb in a different part of Cusco, west of the Loreto. The Airbnb didn't workout at the last minute, so we called up Samir who booked us right away back into the Loreto. Samir really came thru for us! Then the unexpected happened and the President of Peru closed Peru's borders. As we scrambled to get flights at the airport, we were told that we would have to stay in Peru for two more weeks until April 1st and that we would have to do so in quarantine as the Coronavirus had begun to spread world-wide. Once again Henry and Samir welcomed us back from the airport, and Henry told me, my girlfriend, several guests from Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, and Canada that we would all have a place to stay until every last one of us got to go home. They even gave us a reduced rate for our rooms, and allowed us to use their kitchen to make many group dinners. Samir also stayed with us on sight and escorted all of our groups, individually, to the evacuation bus stops, as our respective evacuations flights came through from our home countries.

  What I did not know is that there are two parts to this hotel - an older version and the updated version you see in pictures. Our room was in the older section, and while nice, it was not the picture you see on the website. It was clean and comfortable but the wooden floors were extremely squeaky. The hotel was in a great location and the staff was extremely accomodating. It was a great deal and I would recommend Loreto Hotel.

  We stopped in here for two nights, amazing location close to everything. Samir who checked us in was very helpful and informative. He even got out of his way to take us out and show us a couple of things we weren't sure where they were.The place is quirky and offer a clean accommodation with good quality WiFi connection and free good selection of tea including the famous Coca tea.Room facilities are basic but it has all what you need to have a good stay including safe and flat TV with some English channels. Highly recommend and thanks guys for your superb hospitality.
