Good option in Cusco
20 May 2026
There is a lot to like about this hotel which is in a good location in Cusco. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped and although the bathroom is a little cramped it has a very good pressure hot shower and large fluffy towels. The public areas consist of a lovely peaceful lounge and an atrium leading to the dining room where coca and muna tea is available all day. Rooms overlooking the atrium are a little cramped and airless whilst rooms at the front of the hotel are very noisy so ask for a room at the back. The only thing that lets this hotel down is the breakfast which has limited choices and we found everything to be dry and uninispiring. Evening meals were Ok. Sebastián Guillén, Director General at LP Los Portales Hotel Cusco, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your stay with us.We are truly happy to know that you enjoyed our location, the comfort of the rooms, and the attention from our team. It is also wonderful to hear that you appreciated the peaceful lounge areas, the hot shower, and the availability of coca and muña tea throughout the day — small details that we hope help our guests feel comfortable while discovering Cusco. We also sincerely appreciate your comments regarding the room distribution and breakfast experience. Feedback like yours is very valuable to us, as it helps us identify opportunities to continue improving both our facilities and service. We will certainly share your observations with our team for review.Thank you once again for your visit and for highlighting both the positive aspects and the points where we can do better. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to Cusco in the future.Kind regards,Sebastián GuillénHotel Manager
