    Amenities that do not exist

    rating02 Oct 2025

First, positive things the room was extremely comfortable and immaculately clean. The bathroom was spacious with comfortable, fluffy towels plenty of hot water. The beds too were first rate, very comfortable, large pillows first rate linens and the room itself was immaculately clean. From the moment we checked in I felt that the check-in clerk was hostile to us. I pointed out discrepancies in the ad on hotels.com, versus the reality. The ad/listing statesy, it offers a bar, but there is no bar. It says it offers a restaurant there is no restaurant . It states that it serves continental breakfast until 930, breakfast stopped at 9 AM, It also boasted a deli and service 24 that did not exist. We were assigned a room on the very first floor and it was super noisy. The ad also said the rooms are soundproof, That was definitely not the case. We heard garbage trucks as early as 6 AM, restaurant workers one floor below making loud noises right at 6 AM. When I drew the curtains, the view was of parked cars and pavement at eye level, any passersby could look in. The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired virtually nothing was labeled with what it is. There were no muffins, no croissants, no danish, no usual breakfast items. Everything was served buffet style without being heated so the scrambled eggs were at room temperature with no heating device below. There were no sneeze guards, It really was a huge disappointment although the coffee was good. I do not recommend this hotel and I regret staying here.

    Helpful staff

The room was okay. Nice to have glasses to drink from. The bedding was fragranced (washed in fragranced laundry detergent) so made it hard to sleep. Horns and alarms started 6:30am. Best thing about this place was the person at reception who helped us a great deal with our car hire and planning, including details of how to get Cuzco region tourist ticket.

    Noisy hotel, small room

    rating25 Aug 2024

I stayed here for 2 nights. Thankfully no longer than that, as the room was rather small, and a strange shape. There was also lots of noise from the rest of hotel including from the breakfast room 2 floors below, from 6:30am onwards! The hotel is in a good location, but there are probably better hotels nearby.

    Yawar Inka hotel

    rating07 Jun 2024

We booked this hotel due to all the positive reviews and were unfortunately disappointed. The hotel is about a 20 min walk from the city center, which was not a big deal. But it is located on a strip where there is not a proper sidewalk/ they are stripping the street or working on it, so it’s a hybrid dirt road, which could get a bit sketchy at night. We also heard the workers early in the morning right outside our window. The rooms themselves were fine, and mostly clean, however the showers were horrible. Our shower had a leak, so the water was coming out of the pipes on the side. Also, the hot water was limited. We went with our friends and anytime we tried to shower at the same time, the hot water would run out after about five minutes. This was particularly unacceptable when we returned from our four day/three night Inca trek and my husband’s first shower in four days was cold. The customer service was not great due to the language barrier. We tried to pay our bill the night before we left for the Inca trek, but the person on the door did not understand us, making the already early morning the following day even earlier. We encountered this issue a lot with members of the staff.
