Great affordable business option

This hotel offered great value for money. It is no-frills, but my room had everything I needed just around the corner from my conference venue, the Swisshotel, for a fraction of the price that they were charging (USD 320 including airport taxi @ USD 40). The breakfast buffet was good, but after day 1, you can probably find cheaper options in the neighborhood. Great, attentive service. The one problem I had was prior to arrival in Peru. I sent Aku a message through Booking.com to arrange the airport taxi, and when I got no reply after a day, I tried calling them on the phone number on their website, but it just rang and rang. I also sent an e-mail directly to the hotel, but no reply. I was quite concerned that the hotel might have permanently closed but was still automatically taking reservations somehow as happened to my husband once on Booking. I was really worried I would arrive in the dead of night in a city with crime problems, and have nowhere to go! However, after about 48 hours, I finally got a reply from them through Booking that I was all set. On my safe arrival, I asked the receptionist why no one had responded to my calls and e-mail through the hotel site, and she said she had no idea what went wrong. Anyway, all's well that ends well, and I can vouch that it is a legitimate operation and a very nice stay. Tons of great dining options in the area, especially Astrid y Gastón right around the corner. Great place to stay in Lima

Excellent acomodations, great location, lots of restaurants and places to walk and eat. The people were great. The locations permits easyness to move from one place to another with minimum effort. I stayed here for one night at the end of my two-week tour of Peru. The hotel is located in San Isidro, which is a nice part of the city. It's a walkable neighborhood, but also a quick cab or uber ride to the touristy Miraflores and Barranco neighborhoods. There is shopping and restaurants nearby. Check-in was a breeze. For the quality of the hotel, the price was great. Breakfast is included, and it was decent. No complaints.

Aku hotel is located in one of the prestigious neighborhoods of Lima in San Isidoro. Hotel is nicely located in the business area of San Isidor and offers a good value for money. The rooms are clean with amenities. Staff are kind and breakfast is really good. A good choice for your business trips in Lima.

We started our trip in Peru at the AKU Hotel, small room but with anything you may need. Location is calm, but we found some really good restaurants walking distance. Quiet area, good for sleeping. The employees were suuuper nice and attentive. I don't drink coffee but my boyfriend says that it was arguably the best coffee from a machine he has ever had. And he has traveled the world.
