    Please Send My Sunglasses

    rating12 Aug 2019

It's been over a month. I've already paid you for the postage. I stayed here in June, and I left my sunglasses in the room. I emailed them the next day asking if they could check the room. They said they didn't find them. 10 days later, when I'm already out of the country, they said they found them. I wired them over $40 USD for first class priority shipping. They have since stopped emailing me.

    Friendly accommodation

Alpackers has a friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast of fresh juice, bread and coffee (no leche) Nice patio area although small. Our room with bath was a nice size and seemed clean. Bed was uncomfortable. Our bath shared a high open portal with bath next door used by room full of travelers in bunk beds, and sounds traveled freely into our room through the night. Also our room was located directly behind the front desk, so ringing phone and front desk conversations were shared with us at all hours.

    Everything was perfect

    rating22 May 2019

I was there with my mum in April and May, everything was perfect, good rooms and good breakfast, very nice to be able to use the kitchen also. The location is very good and the staff is very nice. A big thanks to Nathalia for her kindness and her help. I will definitely come back here if I come back to Lima one day !

Terrible place with no communication to travelers

    rating15 Jun 2017

I was picked up by a taxi that the hotel sent to get me. When we reached our destination it was a completely different hotel to Alpackers. They informed me that they had given away my room and that I had to stay at the new hostel. They hadn't communicated any of this to me previously or asked if I was ok with doing so. They just said "you stay here tonight then move to Alpackers tomorrow, si?". When I asked to cancel my reservation, as they couldn't give me the room i reserved, they proceeded to charge me a cancellation fee and even threatened to report me to a website where hotels review travelers. NO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

    Nothing like pictures

    rating26 Dec 2016

I have reserved a double room with private bathroom, got a dorm (just for me) with bathroom across a hallway. Even though it was just for me it was not very privat...Just one guy spoke english and he left just after I came. Wanted to have some informations about tours in Lima but receptionist told me that she has no clue where or how to reserve a tour, even though I took flyer from reception (it was in spanish) Well at least wifi worked well, showers were hot and with good water pressure. Breakfast ok. I could leave my backpack at reception and at evening I could take a shower before I left to the airport.
