Clean, basic, artsy in a fun way, good staff, great restaurant

I stayed here for a total of three nights, two at the beginning of a Peru tour with Exoticca and one at the end. The hotel is clean and new looking, and the art is fun. My room was spacious but basic. The art on the walls in my room seemed a but simplistic, like it was done by schookids almost. But the bed was comfy enough and the hotel was quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the neighborhood was good, a nice place to walk around and with a pharmacy next door. The restaurant in the lobby was excellent, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They offered some very tasty dishes that felt like they came from a high end standalone restaurant. All in all the hotel is a good choice and very reasonable and in a nice neighborhood.

We spent our first two nights in Peru at Arte Hotel Lima and it was a perfect start to our tour. We appreciated the efficient staff, friendly customer service and enjoyed the quiet, clean, spacious room, comfortable bedding, and delicious breakfasts. The charming, contemporary, boutique hotel is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood with historic sites, restaurants (and a "must visit" Gelato shop!), grocery store and money exchange, all within walking distance.However, it was our return to the hotel, at the end of our trip, that really impressed us.We returned to Lima and Arte Hotel on the final day of our trip, prior to departure. My travel companion had been feeling poorly, earlier in the day and, upon arrival, became severely ill. We were unable to fly home for 4 additional days. Augusto and Juan Jose, the hotel managers, were absolutely amazing! Their concern and service were far beyond expectations. Both went out of their way to help us, with each and every need . Without their assistance, my travel companion could not have received the care she needed. Our sincere appreciation and gratitude to Augusto and Juan Jose and the entire staff for making our additional stay as comfortable and stress free, as possible. We cannot say enough good things about this hotel and its staff. Stayed here as part of an excursion with exxotica tours. Super friendly staff and the check in was smooth. The room is nice and clean and comfortable. Everything is in working order. They only give one pillow per bed. Which is fine. I’d rather two. And one bathing towel. 2 washcloths would be nice also. There’s a restaurant in the hotel lobby, which has relatively good food. The breakfast is delish. Many places close early around here but it’s easy to grab an Uber and go wherever. The area is safe too.

The place couldn't be better located. At the heart of San Isidro, near the Olivar.There's a supermarket nearby (15 min walk), you can go walking to the Huaca Puccllana, and a taxi will not take more than 10min to reach Larcomar.The best is that it's in a centric but quiet place so you can have a proper rest.

What a delight to find this little hotel. Very charming, excellent service, fairly modern facilities and exceptionally clean. I really enjoyed the pleasant staff and their desire to make the best of our stay. Having the Rutina Cafe in the lobby added to the pleasure of the stay. Location is pretty decent. Over 30 minutes to the airport, depending on time, and about 15-20 minutes to the colonial center. Safe and clean neighborhood too. Highly recommend.
