  OK hotel for a nights layover

  I had a short overnight layover between flights and opted to stay in a cheap & close hotel to the airport.The room was a little outdated but serviceable no less.Shower wasn't too great, with the water pressure very low.Tip...eat before you get there the hotel has no food nor is the area a place I would wonder around at night looking for food.I purchased a few sandwiches at the airport to eat before checking into the hotel.

  Great layover stay

  For 120 soles, I was able to take a quick Uber ride for my layover. The room was clean, large and AC. If you have a layover for a few hours, better than sleeping at airport. Each room has a private bath/shower. The hotel was safe and secure. You won't want to walk to it or walk around the area in Callao but Uber will pick you up in a few minutes.

  The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, the shower was fine. i was worry if there is no good sound isolation but i could sleep wellbe sure you have your own slipper just few minutes driving to the airport

  Warm Hospitality on Our First Night in Peru

  We arrived in Lima at 1:30 AM and needed to stay at a hotel near the airport as we were planning to fly to Cusco within 12 hours upon arrival. The hotel provided us a shuttle that picked us up from the airport to the hotel. Cost was only 30 soles (less than $10 USD).The room was spacious and had the essentials that we need in a hotel. I did wake up at 6 in the morning hearing a rooster. I'll be honest, the hotel is in Callao, which is not the nicest area of Lima. In the morning when we checked out, we wanted to uber to Plaza de Armas de Lima area. Our hotel front office ambassador was so kind - she waited outside the hotel with us to make sure we were protected and constantly checked my phone to ensure we were getting into the correct Uber. Unfortunately, I don't speak Spanish but I understood her gestures when she was saying that my phone could be snatched. I wish I got her name.When we got back to the hotel to go to the airport, our hotel manager held our luggage in a locked room and yet again stayed with us outside for our uber to the airport. For an affordable hotel near the airport, Padama Hotel was definitely a great pick for us.

  Beats sleeping in the airport

  I’ve stayed here several times between connecting flights and it gets the job done. Rooms are clean, there’s usually hot water, and booking airport transfer directly saves you the hassle of negotiating with taxistas at arrivals. Is it luxurious? It’s not. It’s decent, though, and safe, and if you think of it as an alternative to vying for floor or chair space for an overnight at the airport, you’ll be better able to look past the fairly noisy rooms, elusive internet connections, and bare bones accommodations.
