Location

This hotel enjoys a convenient location at the entrance to the historic centre of Lima. Attractions in the surrounding area include the Museo Italiano (100 m), the Museo de Arte (200 m), the Museo Nacional de Arqueologia Antropologia e Historia as well as a number of churches. It lies only 15 minutes from Jorge Chavez International Airport.

Facility

431 rooms, including 17 junior suites, 3 suites, 199 single rooms and 210 double rooms, are located on 19 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The holiday village has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The complex has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry, a hotel doctor and a hotel shuttle bus. Cyclists can make use of the bicycle storage area and hire service. Complimentary newspapers are available. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Some rooms include a balcony. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. Children's beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe and a minibar are also available. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. Wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms are also available. The complex has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The indoor and outdoor pools are ideal for exercise as well as relaxation. A sun terrace is a great place to while away the hours. Refreshing drinks are served at the poolside snack bar. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the holiday village, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, a gym, a spa, a sauna, a steam bath and massage treatments.

Meals

Dining facilities include a café and a bar. A number of specialities await guests in the air-conditioned, non-smoking restaurant. The complex offers a wide range of catering options. Bed and breakfast, half board and full board can be booked. For breakfast (continental), lunch, and dinner, guests serve themselves at the buffet or choose their favourite dishes from the à la carte options (for lunch and dinner).

    The Hotel is a little dated and tired which in itself for me was ok . My main 2 issues where that as a SHERATON there where no tea and coffee facilities in the room . Upon asking at reception I was told that’s one available in the suites !!! I then proceeded to ask for some sort of facility and was told they could give me a Kettle and go buy your coffee. Unfortunately when the kettle arrived it was literally the Kettle , no mug , no spoon nothing so i just went and bought all the stuff myself. This is unacceptable service from a Sheraton and the moment I asked about tea and coffee facilities I should have been offered. This is a basic standard in any 2 star hotel. The breakfast was ok and the room was cleaned nicely but the carpets in the rooms leave a lot to be desired. ( take flip flops ).     I also want to add , the cheerfulness of Joseph , I met in the pool area /resturant and Camila in Resturant area added to the joy of my stay in Shereton , even with my language barrier , they were able to communicate with me to make my stay comfortable.     Great hotel close to historical center and fabulous restaurants within walking distance.

    Stayed at the Sheraton for a business meeting that was fairly close to the hotel. Elite status recognition was amazing and was upgraded to a suite. The Sheraton Club was being renovated so not great there but the interim lounge was appreciated nonetheless. The buffet breakfast at the on site restaurant was quite good and Cristian at that restaurant remembered my name after one day. Very impressed and appreciated.Rooms were clean and well appointed. Air conditioning could be better but it was manageable. Location is pretty convenient depending on what you are there for and a lot of great restaurants within walking distance. I’d stay there again next time I’m in Lima.
