We went as a family and booked 2 mactan suites for the four of us. These suites were nice, and the rooms were huge, absolutely huge. There were two bathrooms in each suite so everyone was happy. I'll go with my "Good, Bad, and Ugly" style of review. There really isn't an ugly on this one, but I will try...Good - Rooms are excellent and well maintained. Breakfast is amazing and waaaay over the top. Breakfast: Espresso, omelette, pho, sushi, and juices made me happy. Lunch: A la carte and the burger/fry at the bar were about $10US but they were excellent. The pizza was about the same but it was beyond excellent and worth trying. Drinks are kind of pricey, but the mango drinks are excellent. Pools - lazy river was excellent and plenty of floats. The water was perfect in all the pools. Location: Plenty of shopping inside and outside the facilities. Yes, we tried Jollibee and loved it. Plenty of baked goods as well. They were really good about giving us bottled water, but we bought a case of 24 from the 7/11 near the park entrance and were good. Buffet - it was about $40 US and again, over the top for what you get. Salmon sashimi, lamb, beef, more pho, desserts galore....just an incredible spread. Excercise room - excellent and open more hours than you think. Parasailing adventure - beyond excellent and a highlight. Service: Excellent and staff were really attentive. Just watch the gardeners and that will tell you there is a LOT of pride from all the employees.The Bad/room for improvement: We went to the Coral and that was weird. Service was bad and meals were served individually so we didn't all eat at the same time. They served crab with no cracker, or pick or gloves, so we stuck to the other restaurants. Drinks - I was kind of surprised that non-alcoholic drinks were the same price as alcoholic drinks. There were sooooo many kids and mine were always drinking something but I didn't appreciate $8US for a shirley temple, with my alcoholic mai tai at $8US. Seating - I would like to see more padded seating and umbrella seating which were at a premium. Overall - people are just friendly here. The resort might be a 5 star here, but I'd think it was a 4 star, with a 5 star mindset. this is an EXCELLENT place to come for a relaxing vacation and good food.

⸻I really enjoyed my stay at JPark Island Resort & Waterpark! Super sulit especially if you’re with family or friends. The waterpark is the best part — ang daming slides and pools, hindi ka mabobore.Rooms are clean and comfortable, sarap magpahinga after swimming. Staff are friendly and very accommodating, which made the experience even better. Food is okay naman, maraming choices especially sa breakfast buffet.Beach is nice for relaxing and pictures, kahit medyo mababaw yung water. Overall, great place for fun and relaxation. Babalik ako for sure!

Huge thanks to Christine Luague for taking such great care of us we truly had an unforgettable stay! Our experience at Jpark Island Resort was nothing short of amazing. From the delicious food to the super fun and exciting pool activities, every moment was worth it.What made it even more special was how warm, friendly, and accommodating all the staff were they really made us feel at home. We also truly appreciate that the resort is Muslim friendly, which made our stay even more comfortable and worry free.A heartfelt thank you as well to DM Ella for taking such wonderful care of our kids during their Pororo experience.
