The resort has 6 lifts and features 530 rooms and 24 suites. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Services such as a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine ensure a comfortable stay.     A Wonderful Family Getaway at Shangri-La Mactan

    ?????We had such a great time at Shangri-La Mactan! We stayed for four days and three nights with our family, and honestly, it was a wonderful getaway.We really enjoyed everything the resort had to offer — the food, swimming pools, beach, snorkeling, and all the fun activities by the sea. There was always something to do, but we also had plenty of time to just relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.A special thank you to our tennis coach, Vanix! My daughter and I played tennis with him for two days, and we had so much fun. He was very friendly, patient, and encouraging, and he made the tennis sessions enjoyable for both of us. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!Overall, we had a fantastic family vacation and made some really nice memories here. We would definitely love to come back to Shangri-La Mactan again!

    We don't usually do reviews. After all, what's the point if it's always on the same bandwidth of services and amenities. This one we couldn't possibly ignore! Wow! A big shout-out to Kenneth!What an amazing experience we had with our family during our stay at Shangri-La Mactan! From the moment we arrived, we truly felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of, thanks to Vince. No expense was spared to ensure we had everything we needed for our wee 6 month old. Bags were up in no time, and if anything was needed later (like a baby guard) Kenneth wasted no time!Nina made our check-in smooth and easy, and above all, fast! Their friendly and accommodating service was such a lovely start to our stay.We also loved seeing Jen during our breakfasts by the Aqua poolside. Her lovely smile and warm personality every morning were such a wonderful way to start our day, and her attention to our wee one was lovely to see! ??Kenneth deserves a very special shout-out here! He made sure our family was well taken care of throughout our stay and was always ready to assist us with anything we needed. He was incredibly attentive and genuinely went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. When he was on duty in the mornings, he would welcome is as we'd come out of the elevator, have a pleasant chat and always asked if there was anything else he could do for us. We think he was quite smitten with the little one.During our stay, we had friends visiting us over the weekend, including two guests who are PWD. Kenneth was incredibly helpful in assisting them and making sure everything went smoothly. He even went the extra mile to find a charger for one of our friend's phones — such a small thing, but it really showed how thoughtful and attentive he was. ??It’s people like Kenneth, Vince, Nina, Jen, and the whole team who make a stay truly special. We are so grateful for the wonderful hospitality and service we received.Thank you, Shangri-La Mactan, for such a memorable family stay! The service, relaxed atmosphere, easy location, comfortable rooms were out of this world! You set the standard for unbeatable service! We’ll definitely be back!

    A Perfect Day in Paradise

    Shangri-La is truly one of the most beautiful resorts in Cebu. I’m honestly lost for words—it’s absolutely stunning! Cowrie Cove offers amazing seafood and delicious cocktails, and the beach is incredibly clean and beautiful. Everything about the experience was wonderful??

    My family visited Shangri La Cebu in September 2026. We had a fantastic visit. I wanted to mention Evelyn at the beachside rental. She was especially helpful in fitting us with the snorkeling gears. She went above and beyond, and helped us secure some lounge chairs underneath the shaded huts. She laid out our towels and made sure we were comfortable. Definitely 5 stars service. We would certainly recommend Shangri-La to our friends and we definitely return in the near future.
