    The staff made the experience.

We were visiting the Philippines and stayed a night at the Century Park Hotel for its convenience and great rates. While the hotel does show signs of age and could use an upgrade, the property was taken cared of and the rooms were clean and roomy. I do want to recognize the excellent front desk staff and bellman for their hospitality and attentiveness and I particularly want to recognize Nina for her positive attitude and genuine smile. She recognized us by name and made sure our stay was very special.

    Disappointing stay

    rating17 Feb 2026

Was dissapointed with my stay. Upon arrival, Kurt was not welcoming at all. Just straight away asked If I was checking in, no welcome, no smile. Very cold reception. Woke up 0430 am the next morning and requested 2 bottles of water, staff told me Ibhad to wait till 0800 am for them to deliver water then staff goes, oh sorry you are checking out today, you are not entitled to complimentary water, it is chargeable. At this day and age, hotels do give additional water. The size of the water bottle, 330 ml just enough for a child to drink and they want you to use those 2 bottles for the whole day. I understand cost cutting however quite disheartening to hear. No wonder I see other guests coming back from 7-eleven buying 5 liter mineral water. They place 2 coffee sachets, 1 regular and 1 decaffinated. Me and my wife had to do paper, scissor, stone to get to chose who gets regular or decaf. Main door squeaks like you are entering a haunted room. Power points literally coming out of the wall when you pull your charger out. I understand the rooms are outdated however keep it clean and in working condition. Hope your GM Ann gets to read this. You need to inspect your room frequently. By the way the lifts are being fixed, we had to use the housekeeping service lift to get to the ground floor. Special mention to AFOM April and Night Manager Eric for listening to my concerns, Cafe Manger Ronnie and team, you did well on a crowded Sunday breakfast buffet. Sous chef need to work on deligating his kitchen staff on refilling food during breakfast buffet, table wares delayed, most of the ojt are standing around lost and dont know what to do. Had to tell them to help refill.

Comfort, Good Breakfast, and Classic Manila Vibes

    rating07 Dec 2025

We stayed at Century Park Hotel in Pablo Ocampo (former Vito Cruz) over the long weekend and overall, it was a pleasant experience despite the hotel showing its age. The establishment and rooms are definitely dated, but the bed was surprisingly comfortable and the AC worked really well, something I always appreciate in Manila’s weather. Our bathroom was clean and came with the usual amenities, though you can really see that the fixtures are old and could use an upgrade.Breakfast had a nice selection but adding a bit more variety would make it even better. Still, we really enjoyed the beef pares, the cinnamon French toast and especially the bacon which was cooked perfectly crisped, just the way we like it.Overall, Century Park Hotel remains a comfortable option with its familiar, classic charm. I’ve always appreciated its architecture though giving the interiors a modern update would truly elevate the stay.

My flight was delayed so my fellow passengers and I were booked here for the night. The food was good. The ambiance was perfect. The elevator is old and scary looking. The room was huge. I murdered some cockroaches that crept out of nowhere. The lights kept turning turning off. A hotel staff came to check but the problem continued. There should be a TV in the bedroom. The hotel is old.
