  Oldest Chinatown in the world right in the heart of manila

  Truly grateful to Karl. Patrick n others who always greet with warmth smiles & big hearts to provide useful info on how to go about enjoying Manila's Chinatown - deservingly to be a distinct heritage in Manila for it is the oldest of its' kind in the world. Bustling with good vibes, wide range of local foods, eateries n cafes. N I love the hotel being just next to the iconic Minor Basilica of San Lorenzo Ruiz. Convenience for just hop n skip over for a Eucharistic prayer n mass service after a busy day.

  Hugely disappointing for a big brand

  The hotel needs some basic maintenance, ripped carpets causing trip hazards in corridors, broken tiles in the bathroom, ridiculously small single beds in a deluxe double bedroom. We stayed twice and both times had to wait till well after 3pm to get our rooms when check in is from 2pm. On our first visit, after a 24 hour journey, we arrived mid morning and had to wait till well after 3pm on extremely uncomfortable chairs in their so called "cafe" area. Really not acceptable and the reception staff were rude after everyone was complaining. When you check out, security block the doors and won't let you leave till the rooms have been checked; it makes you feel like a criminal. Breakfast and the restaurant generally were good.   WORST HOTEL IN ONGPIN

  One of the worst experience in booking a hotel. We went here at 12:30 for registration and went out for lunch. When we came back at 1:50pm they told us that the unit is under inspection. It’s been 40 minutes and 2:35pm we haven’t entered the unit YET! SUCH A HASSLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL FOR THIS KIND OF HOTEL!!   Hotel - not acceptable. Really small beds even in a deluxe room. Staff will smile with an attitude and do nothing to help. Location - area filled with garbage, canal is full of plastic and no clean up. Not sure it is worth the money.
