  Simple, comfortable, and near the medical university

  Very nice comfortable simple hotel, at a 10 min walking distance from the medical university. The rooms are located in two adjoining villa buildings, along with a nice restaurant where you get good buffet breakfast plus some nice food (only a limited menu) from about 15:30 to 21:00. The rooms were large enough, with good beds, clean bathroom, and basic facility for making tea-coffee in the room. We were quite and satisfied.

  An emotional trip made easy by the friendliness of the staff.

  This was a emotional family trip. We were initially booked for 7 nights from 24th September, but due to visa not made available in time the trip got postponed. We finally checked in on 29th September. Property offered us the comfortable room and even adjusted the booking. This was very courteous.

  The food and breakfast were very good. Unfortunately, our stay was ruined when we arrived at the hotel. the service staff did not arrange what was promised. The beds were far too hard and the pillows small and substandard so we slept very poorly.   I was on a trip with my class to Gdansk. Me and my friend got a really big room. But the first thing that welcomed us was a spider on the wall. Not huge so it was fine.. the next thing we know is 4-5 spiders in the corners of the roof. We are talking huge spiders. With long long legs! We removed them, but still has it in mind today.The breakfast was not that good either. Dry bread and scones, milk/juice/yogurt/and other bread toppings was also room temperature. We got back to the hotel and we pre ordered dinner for about 20 persons, with soda at 1900 pm. We got here and they had «forgot» about us? How is that even possible. So we had to wait for about 1-2 extra hours, to get some pizza’s ordered and the soda came when we were all finished. Back to the roomsSo. First of all the hotel is noisy. The staff doesnt clean the room they only make the beds. We had a chair standing beside the bed when we left. And also some empty bottles for them to take. Guess what. It was all at the exact same spot as we left it. There are spider webs in every single corner of the room, and an old soap bar in the shower. Wifi? Horrible. Clean rooms? Nope. The floors is all dirty and stained. They could at least vaccum. The staff is not speaking good english. And they are all grumpy and mad. We do not recommend this hotel.   My wife and I stayed at Hotel Impresja for three nights. When we arrived at the lobby, the receptionists did not greet us in any way, so I walked up to them and said hello. When I asked for our room, one of them coldly told me it was not ready yet. This was fine with me, (I’ve travelled a lot and sometimes these things happen) so I asked if we could store our luggage somewhere. We could, so we left our bags and went to explore the city and came back two hours later. Luckily our room was ready then, but we only got one key card, which was slightly odd.Our room was small, but clean. There were some stains on the curtains and on the carpet, but they would have needed professional cleaning, so I let it slide. The view was to the backyard (not so nice), but we didn’t intend to stay at the hotel room much, so it was okay. There was a tv and some refreshments (coffee, tea, sparkling water) which was nice. The bathroom was good, not too small, and the shower had excellent water pressure. Small bottles of shampoo, shower gel and soap were provided. The hotel breakfast was alright. There were three kinds of bread and also an option to toast them, which was nice. My wife was disappointed because there were no croissants (which you can usually find at any hotel breakfast). There was watermelon, which we both liked very much, and boiled as well as scrambled eggs. The coffee was a disappointment because it was so bitter and the machine didn’t have any text in English which would have told me what kind of coffee I was having, so I ended up randomly pressing buttons. Overall, a three star hotel worth the three stars, but compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at, this place did not impress.
