Location

This hotel is just a 5 minutes away from galleries, shops and street theatre events. With abundant rail, road and sea links, Gdansk is well-connected to several major Scandinavian and Western European cities. Sopot Beach is a 10-minute drive from the hotel, the Medisom shopping centre is 7 minutes, and Gdynia is around 15 minutes by car. Gdansk Airport is only 15 km away and the train station is an easy 20-minute walk from the hotel.

Facility

Units include 134 rooms, including 30 suites, 9 apartments, 10 single rooms and 60 double rooms, located in a 5-storey main building and a 5-storey auxiliary building. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional facilities include a TV room.     Just wow…. From the fabulously attentive staff, to the luxury rooms to the phenomenal breakfast, right in the heart of Gdansk, you could not stop in a better place…..

    Reception staff could do with smiling and being a bit more helpful but after that I can’t fault it.Location is greatWe stayed in a suite apartment in a separate building ( 1 minute walk away) and it was absolutely lovelyClean, spacious and modernBed and pillows were so comfortable Kettle, tea/coffee making facilities, microwave etc…Opposite the Irish bar and had a bar restaurant downstairs which was great but wasn’t noisy once in the roomHand wash, shower gel in the room, lovely towelsWould definitely recommend and will definitely return Radisson Blu, General Manager at Radisson Blu Hotel, Gdansk, responded to this review Dear Guest,thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed review.     A beautiful hotel centrally located. We stayed here for 3 nights in room 503 with breakfast. The smell at the hotel is amazing from the second you walk in it hits you and it’s lovely. It is clean well maintained building and our room was very clean and had a great bed . Breakfast had lots of options and the bar had friendly attentive staff and lots of comfortable sofas.     This is the third individual Radisson Blu Hotel I’ve stayed in over the past five years, and each experience has been excellent (though the Copenhagen one was undergoing window replacements for about 3 months of the time I was there, so that’s not a fair comparison).I visited Gdansk with my grandson, and he also commented on how nice the hotel was. Radisson Blu seems to follow a consistent format: welcoming reception staff, great bar service, and spacious, comfortable rooms.The two bartenders, Simon and Jacob, went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, with Jacob being the standout. The hotel’s location is fantastic, right in the heart of the old town and within easy walking distance of most attractions.Breakfast was more than adequate, offering a wide selection of hot and cold dishes with a local touch. We used Ubers to get around, and while they dropped us off directly at the hotel, pickups required a short walk of about 500 meters due to the hotel’s location.To sum up - we really enjoyed our stay.     Absolutely best of the best!! The we got was absolutely amazing! Private terrass with views over the old town city square! The hotel is located in the absolute center of everything! This is the hotell we will use for every visit to Gdansk! The service from the hotel staff was just as great!Can't recommend this hotel enough!
